IF you can find it....I came across a haircut here on the village that I really like. But everytime I try to print it out or copy the url it's not there.Anyway it's on Ivillage main page, click on hair, then makeovers then the 25 makeovers. This is a mother daughter makeover and the one I like is Diane. If you find it tell me what you think.

We would look like the Bobbsey Twins (more currently the Olsen twins). I wear my iVillage hat from when I was a CL (LOVE IT!) and sunglasses! Right now I have the Dutch Boy thing going, but I'm really tired of it. Not much you can do with fine, stick straight hair without putting a lot of stuff in it, and I'm not good at all that. Well, I'm too lazy and most of the time it just doesn't make sense for working in the yard and house, running errands, going to the beach, etc. I've never been a "fixed" hair type person. In fact, my best friend and I made a pact when I was 12 that we'd never get helmet head hairdos that got wrapped in toilet paper and a net for sleeping and redone once a week, as used to be the vogue. Remember the story about a woman who went so long without having her hair redone that she had roaches living in it??? Never found out if that was just an urban legend, but I'm not taking any chances. LOL!

I like it, it's sassy yet manageable... though I have one comment. Unless you have the right hair or use a decent amount of hairspray, that front section may have a tendency to drape into your eyes, meaning you'll either be pushing it out of your way, tucking it behind your ear or using a barrette to keep it back - defeating the style. When I was letting my bangs grow years ago, I ran into that, even when they were finally even with the rest of my hair. I ended up going back to bangs. Most hairstyles I see like this, the wearers are continuously dealing with hair in the eyes. It'd drive me nuts personally (I can't stand my line of vision blocked), and it's distracting to talk to someone who's always pushing her hair aside. If you're going to go for it, make sure your hair is suitable for it with enough body or the right growth pattern, or accept that you'll be pushing it away frequently.
