The day pretty much started downhill when the chicken got mad and hit me in the boob.Ouch!!!!Chickens aren't the brightest animals and one thought he was stuck in a feed pan when he wasn't. I picked him up and explained to him he was not stuck.Apparently chickens understand the word idiot.Who knew????

Hormones are crazy!!I don't know what's up but it seems like Flo is sending her nasty signals a week early.Today I was craving a blueberry poptart and corn on the cob.Even DH who is pretty used to me was caught of guard by that.

Is it just me or is it one of those days any where else......

Hi Patty,

Your post made me smile. You have such a good way with words. Flo haunted me all last week while I was up in Mass. but last night after I got back home here in Texas she blew in right behind me. I think it was the first time I'd relaxed in the past week and she seized her opportunity!

On the up side...it felt soooo good to be back in my own bed last night I didn't care that she was around!

Oh, you are definitely not the only one having one of those days. First thing this morning my boss called a meeting and then spent 30 minutes after the meeting shredding all the work I did last week and pointing out the kazillion errors in my work. I've been working so hard lately that it was just the last straw. So went to the ladies room and had a good cry. I hate it when I cry at work. And it's been a very long time since anything he said even bothered me like that. Hormones? I doubt it...sometimes I wonder what the heck I'm doing here...

Shredding your boss in my mind....

I hope the meeting at least involved just you and him and not the whole staff. That would be truly unprofessional of him.

Well I wasn't having one of those days until several hours ago. Between my agita over the "party" thing, a hectic day at work (both my boss and myself will be on vacation next week) so we're both on missions of clean up and completion, a very foggy brain and I've now made a Mediterranean dinner salad that if I had read the instructions I would have seen-REFRIGERATE BEFORE SERVING!So right now a blueberry pop tart and corn on the cob is sounding mighty fine because this dinner just didn't cut it-I'm already scrounging for someting else to eat-do you have any blueberry pop tarts or corn on the cob to share-because they're sounding real fine right about now!

Lori, I'm sorry that your boss was such a jerk! Hugs coming your way!!! Maybe all of us should pay your boss a visit when we're "hormonally challenged" and explain it to him. In fact I think we could solve a bunch of world issues that way.

Catherine.
