We hope it is all that you want it to be...enjoy, enjoy!!

What a fast weekend! With training a couple of clients, shopping for school, planning for school, organizing myself to complete another course in the masters' program...Yeesh...breathe in and breathe out!!

My workout program is going really well with running 6 days a week and lifting weights, ab work...it is my lifestyle and I must do it every morning or I feel BLAH!!! I take Sundays off so, that I am at Jewel Food Store shopping for the week by 7 a.m. Even during the school year! It is a great time, no crowds..in and out and be done!

But starting this week, I am trying to shake things up a bit in the workout regime by adding an evening workout. Just a 30 minute walk with either Yoga or lifting...I'll keep you posted..doing a little research for the next book.

You guys are all working out so well, even on days where you rather stay in bed or do something completely different. Keep it up and keep striving to be your best.

Take care all...Hugs, Michele

Michele, I used to walk just about every evening but I got out of the habit and can't seem to get back in it.How long do you run each day?Do you go more for speed or distance?

Hope your son is doing ok from his accident. What a scary thing!

Hey there, Pt...

I complete 4 miles on the treadmill and I mix it up. After my warm up, I sometimes run at a 9 minute mile pace, then sometimes set it at a 8 minute pace...depends on how much energy I am feeling. But after the workout with warm up and cool down...I can be on the treadmill anywhere from 40 minutes to 50 minutes in the early morning hours! Today I was on the tread by 5 a.m.

But when I am feeling good and try to do this at least twice a week, I increase the intensity. I jack up the speed to a 7:00 minutes mile pace to work on speed for 30-45 seconds and slow it down to a 8 minute pace for 2 minutes and then hit it again. Shocks the ol' metabolism...gets me reved for the day.

Thanks for asking...hope you enjoy your day today.

Hugs, Michele

Thank you for all your concern and positive thoughts.

Yes, on July 25 after swimming lessons, my son decided to dart out between two parked cars that were park just north of the swimming pool. I was watching but someone stopped me to ask a question about that darn pool that I am not in charge of anymore! As I held up my hand to this individual and had my eyes on my son..he waited for the west bound to clear but he did not see the west bound car..he went and bam! Thank God the driver was going very slow...before I got to him, he did roll on the pavement but popped himself back up and ran back by the sidewalk...crying his little eyes out! Scared to death..I checked him over and the driver got out of his car to check, he was so scared, too!

He learned a hard lesson that day...and I came home, shed a few tears and got down on my knees and said a Big Thank You!!! My son always waits for me and we walk to the car together but that little change of me stopping to answer a #@$! question..gads!

Anyhow, all is well!!!
