Any suggestions for a yoga workout for just relaxtion?I have the AM tape but I'd like something short for any time of day.Maybe even some poses I could learn and do without a tape.Lately I find myself wanting to do yoga.

Also can anyone tell me anything about Rodney Yees tape Yoga for Strength?

I don't have Rodney's Yoga for Strength, I don't think anyway. I have a tape put out by the same company (LivingArts I believe) that is called Yoga for Relaxation. I have another one that is just as good called Yoga for Back Care. They're about 20 minutes long if you skip the hokey introduction. My favorite one is Rodney's Power Yoga. Challenging but short and to the point.

You might also check the library and see if they have any tapes you could try. Video stores sometimes have exercise videos for rent as well.

Patty,

I have the AM/PM yoga tapes and also the Yoga for meditation tape which is broken down into 5 separate sections-first is described as a quiet flow series, 2nd is chair exercises for stretching the back and hips, 3rd is sitting poses, 4th is for breath and posture and 5th is a guide through meditation. Not sure if this helps.

Years ago my son and dil gave me "The Yoga Deck" by Olivia Miller when I was first getting into yoga. Its like big playing cards that explain a pose, how to do it, and with pictures! Its wonderful. It also gives you different recommended sequences to do for different things such as over all stretching, energy, flexibility, strength, relaxation, back pain, etc. I would suggest getting this. Its available at Target and other places. As far as Rodney's strength tape, I just got that one and have only done it a few times. I know Phyllis has done it more. Hope you enjoy your yoga, I know I do! Namaste...tweety
