1) Got to see my beautiful niece
2) Got to see my cousin one last time
3) Got to see my WONDEFUL BEAUTIFUL husband after five days :o). I just love him so much it hurts!
We got an email yesterday reminding us that single tickets for La Boheme at the San Francisco Opera were now on sale for the January 2004 performances. It sounds early, but we really wanted to go to this opera for our 10 year annivesary (the other one happening Jan 1 2004 LOL). So now I have something to look forward to in 2004 :o). We splurged and got two great seats for the 8pm performance, "Moonstruck" is our movie--if you're familiar the plot includes La Boheme and a great romance story.
So now we get to build a vacation around our trip to San Francisco! Yippeee. Lot of family stuff of course, but it will be so fun to be in the city.
Today I'm getting back on my schedule, ended up doing tons of cardio on my vacation, no weights. Can't wait to get back to the weights!
Have just one class today, then some UB weights at home with a tape, then tonight no class-have a Heart Ball meeting.

My top positives for this week:
1. DS phoned from Barriere and he's safe and sound and not working in the frontlines of the big fire.
2. We got some rain and I thoroughly enjoyed it! I went and stood out on the deck and just let it fall on me. It felt so good!
3. I got a bunch of stuff together that I want to sell on e-Bay, took the pictures and wrote up the descriptions! It's all set to go when we come back from vacation!
4. I completed a multitude of sewing/darning projects that had been laying around for months (literally!) Some were from before Christmas of last year!
Today's 15 minute projects.....
1. Make a couple of batches of beef jerky
2. Cut out some new felt shapes for the boys' felt board
3. Pedicure
4. Facial
Challenge...I'm always challenged!! LOL....Sounds fun to me. I'm in for last year's points thingy. I probably still have the chart in my document file somewhere. I never look at these challenges as competitive with anyone on the board. I would be hopelessly lost if it came to competing with some people here. For me it's a personal challenge and more of a game plan. I like to be accountable and I do feel bad when I don't get a workout in or eat like a little piglet, but it's my own feelings! No one on the board has ever made me feel that way. I hope we aren't starting until Sept though, 'cause I've got an anniversary and birthday between now and then, and I plan to enjoy every bite of everything I feel like having on those days, *without* guilt!!!
We'll be leaving bright and early on Thursday morning for our roadtrip back to Banff/Canmore, returning home the following Wednesday, so I won't be on-line during that time. I'm really looking forward to this trip. We went last year also and throughly enjoyed it. The scenery is beyond compare and the boys absolutely love staying in hotels. We managed to book the same one as last year with a pool and a fabulous Italian restaurant. The best part is....dh likes to drive, so I get to sit and knit for hours on end!!
Have a goo day everyone!!!
Shar
On the next challenge I'll be sure to drink everyone under the table ... LOL!!!
Catherine.
