with the virus that shuts down your program and makes it have to restart? It started happening to us yesterday afternoon, and I read that it's affecting tens of thousands of computers globally. Thought we had it whipped, but it happened again a little while ago.

I hadn't heard about it but my friend Susan was just telling me she kept having problems with aol shutting down and she'd have to restart every time... I wonder if that's what's wrong... Icky!

Yes, that virus is hitting our area hard in SD. Make sure you have your antivirus program up-to-date. Make sure you have the MS patch installed. Read the microsoft security bulletin MS03-036

Computers at risk are Windows XP, NT, and 2000 users. AOL has posted how to correct it. For me (XP), I have to go into start, then Windows Update, and update it through there. Hopefully, that will do the trick.
