Good morning everyone!!How is everyone doing this morning? Are you raring to go or wishing you could pull the covers over your head and get some more sleep.More sleep for me!!

What are you thankful for today? And anyone have any 15 min projects planned.

Are you excited about your workout and planning to do fantastic with food?

I'm thankful for the walks with my sister. We haven't been doing it much this summer and I've missed it.I always have a 15 min project in my kitchen!!How does it get so messy so fast????I'm looking forward to my walk today and may get in a run at the track too.As for food,I have to say I don't think I'm up for the endless battle between what I should do and what I actually do.

Have a great day everyone!!!

Miss P

Back to work for me today. I've been off for a week and didn't manage to get up early enough for a walk or a visit to Curvesthis morning. The humidity here is better than it has been in two weeks so I feel ready to go! I'll get my workout in tonight. 15 minute project is a visit to the local farmer's market to pick up fresh veggies!! I am thankful for this beautiful day. Have a great one ladies!

Good morning, everyone!

I'm thankful that the humidity has finally broken - it's not fall-like, but there's a definite difference. Temperatures are supposed to climb toward 90, but I think I can handle that.

I'm thankful that this submission I have to get done today is finally getting done. I allowed it to stress me out so much yesterday that I felt like I couldn't breathe and a panic attack was coming on - I've been down that road before and I refuse to go back to it because of a job. There will be a meeting when my boss gets back from vacation next week and the subject will be closing loose ends and keeping me informed.

I don't expect to work too late tonight - I want this package in FedEx's hands by 6 pm. I'll go home and do a strong UB and cardio workout, and hopefully prepare a healthy meal for a second consecutive day. Another late dinner hour, but it's kind of nice - DH and I can put on an Andrea Bocelli CD and pretend we're in Italy. No cookie snacks today - just fruit and yogurt, and another healthy salad with some kind of protein tossed in for lunch.

Have a great day, everyone!

Donna

I was actually ready to get up and at 'em this morning, which is unusual. I'm planning to do the Basic Workout Plus (T-Tapp) workout this morning and my body brushing. Tim has commented on how soft my skin is! I can feel a difference, and it does keep the old blood circulating.

1. I'm thankful the sun is out this morning. Hope it's nice this weekend. I think there's a tropical system over south Florida meteorologists are keeping an eye on.

2. The volunteer reunion luncheon today which should have about 25 "friends" there.

3. A beautiful "love email" from Tim today.

Have a great day all!

Hear, hear! More sleep for me, too! Went to bed with a book at 10:30 p.m. - jolted straight up at 3:40 a.m.! Tried to go back to sleep, but to no avail. Made some coffee, put on the workout clothes & went to the club. I think I saw Mars this a.m. as I did my 3 mile walk/run. Had a great "me" time for an hour. Then it was hit the shower, make pancakes for ds' first day at jr. high (my baby). Then it was drop him off & ANOTHER Walmart run. If I don't grace them with my presence at least once a day it's a miracle.

Oh, and last night the powerwalk on the track never happened, but the 2 hr. last minute mall, Walmart, Target shuffle, skid & slide did. Of course, ds needed a new shirt as all of his new ones were somehow dirty (guess I should manage to do laundry once a week), and the last minute school supplies! I even did my shopping workout in high heels - doesn't that make for a better burn? I know my toes were burning.

15 min. project: it was the Walmart run

Today, I will take a late lunch to pick ds up & am hoping I can procure him a ride with friends. He doesn't want to ride the bus as there are some kids that like to rough up too much. I may be taking the neighborhood kids to school each a.m., which would be great if someone would take my ds home. Ah, the problems of a working mom . . . My house is a trail leading to the dining room. It starts at the door where ds decided to put all of the clothes he had outgrown - there are clothes since 3rd grade in the bags! The trail kind of ends in the kitchen, where I had to blink twice at 4 a.m. to make sure that was an M&M on the floor and not some creature.

Have my own Oriental salad made for lunch & no M&M's! Have a great day!

Oh, almost forgot . . . I'm thankful for not getting a paycut at Dillard's and that school has begun again. Idle hands & brains . . .

We (my friend Susan and I) walked up to San Luca today. It's a 4km long portico that goes up the side of a mountain to a chapel dedicated to the Madonna. There's a painting that's supposedly painted by Saint Luke (of Gospel fame) which is why it's called San Luca. The local legend is that,no matter what direction you approach the city, you'll always see San Luca first. Since it's situated on a ridge overlooking Bologna, this is pretty close to true.

Anyway - it's a gorgeous walk. Lots of steps and lots of upward slanted walkway. All of it covered by porticos with paintings and sculptures every few meters. The chapel is gorgeous inside. Very old, with painted ceilings and everything.

The walk back down is WAY easier than the walk up! ;-)

This evening we're going to a concert at the Piazza Maggiore downtown (the main plaza). We're planning on biking.

15 minute project - I should go through the medicine cabinet/cupboard in the bathroom and toss most of the ancient junk in there...

Not a lot of time to post today. We are just heading out the door on vacation.

Exercise will be hit and miss, but the hotel we are staying in has a pool, so at least that's something. And we may get some hiking in while in Banff/Canmore. I'm not even going to pretend that I'll be eating healthy while I'm gone!! But I'll behave when I come home.

I'm thankful that I have such a loving husband.

On the upside, over the last two weeks I've had three people tell me that I look like I've lost weight (not according to the scale), and that I look much more toned!!! Quite amazing since my exercise has been sporadic and my eating only so, so!!

Nancy, congratulations on the size 4!! I've never been a size 4 in my adult life. In fact with my heavy bones, me thinks I would look anorexic. Good job!

So, have a great week while I'm gone! I'll be back the middle of next week.

Congratulations, Nancy!!! A SIZE 4???!!! Last time I saw that size in my closet was when I was 30 yrs. old. After ds was born - I gave all of them away.

Keep up the great work, you tiny thing, you!
