TGIF!! Since I can't sleep, I'm getting an early start again.

1. What do you do when you can't sleep?

2. Do you have a tip, bit of wisdom, or observation you'd like to share?

3. What clothing trend will you be so glad to see go out of style?

4. What clothing style would you like to see return ?

5. What charity or service group would you volunteer for if circumstances were right?

1. What do you do when you can't sleep?

***I do research or play Free Cell on the computer or read.

2. Do you have a tip, bit of wisdom, or observation you'd like to share?

***Did you ever notice how gel masks make you look about 15 years younger? If the finish weren't so shiny, I'd be tempted to use one for foundation. Just have to keep my face immobile like an overdose of Botox to keep it from peeling off...

3. What clothing trend will you be so glad to see go out of style?

***It's a tie between ultra low jeans for girls with flab hanging over and baggy pants on guys with their underwear showing. We need to strike a happy medium there.

4. What clothing style would you like to see return?

***Good old classic preppy with maybe a little updated twist.

5. What charity or service group would you volunteer for if circumstances were right?

***No Child Left Behind (literacy)

1. What do you do when you can't sleep?

I usually read or play Mah Jhongg on the computer.

2. Do you have a tip, bit of wisdom, or observation you'd like to share?

Never feed a Rottweiler chocolate, even by accident. Because he will have lots of accidents.

3. What clothing trend will you be so glad to see go out of style?

Ultra low rise jeans. I know those girls are in shape to wear them, but it seems like a little too much information on display. I know, I'm an old fuddy-duddy. I'm also glad that the guys aren't wearing their pants down around their butts quite so much anymore.

4. What clothing style would you like to see return ?

I'm not all that stylish so I guess I don't know. So long as my jeans and t-shirts are ok, I'm good to go.

5. What charity or service group would you volunteer for if circumstances were right?

For the right candidate, I'd volunteer for a political campaign.

1. What do you do when you can't sleep?

Fume!

2. Do you have a tip, bit of wisdom, or observation you'd like to share?

Shoulder pads make your hips look thinner. (Sorry, I don't have anything deeper that's original!)

3. What clothing trend will you be so glad to see go out of style?

Butt-crack jeans.

4. What clothing style would you like to see return ?

See No. 2!!!

5. What charity or service group would you volunteer for if circumstances were right?

Circumstances are always right, I'm just protective of my time and energy. That said, I'd volunteer for Children's Hospital or the Jimmy Fund.

1. What do you do when you can't sleep?

Take Tylenol P.M.!!!!

2. Do you have a tip, bit of wisdom, or observation you'd like to share?

Nope, no wisdom here today...its my day off ;-}

3. What clothing trend will you be so glad to see go out of style?

Well, I as well, do not like those really low cut pants the girls are wearing. But whats worse is when they display a high rise thong while wearing them! Now I'm sorry, but underwear are called that for a reason! Yuck!

4. What clothing style would you like to see return ?

I really don't care for "in style" or not. I wear what I want and whats comfortable to me. I'm not into the trendy stuff.

5. What charity or service group would you volunteer for if circumstances were right?

Any and all...as long as it had nothing to do with politics! Sorry, I don't care for politics.

1. What do you do when you can't sleep?

**Read....that does it for me everytime, kaboom, I sleep.

2. Do you have a tip, bit of wisdom, or observation you'd like to share?

**Don't focus on how far you have to go (losing weight, etc) during the fitness/healthy eating process. Focus on how great you're doing, the success you've had, and what you need to do to keep on track. So many of my friends are working so hard at working out, they are getting results, yet they just focus on the fat they have to lose still and it depresses them. Better body image !!!

3. What clothing trend will you be so glad to see go out of style?

**The pants that show the crack of the butt! GROSS.

4. What clothing style would you like to see return ?

**Anything classic and tailored...I'm still stuck in Jackie O land.

5. What charity or service group would you volunteer for if circumstances were right?

**Definitely something with the elderly and the dying process. Hospice. I want to be there for people when they have no one and they're dying.

1. What do you do when you can't sleep?

Make a big mug of hot tea with lots of warm milk, pull out a book and I usually doze off right there on the sofa. Hopefully it's after the mug of tea is finished or I end up with a wet wake-up! This doesn't happen very often for me. I have more of a problem with falling asleep when I need to stay awake.

2. Do you have a tip, bit of wisdom, or observation you'd like to share?

The recent events in our family have been a big reminder to "live each day to the fullest and tell the people you love how you feel because you never know when it will be your last"

3. What clothing trend will you be so glad to see go out of style? Could care less because I wear what I want and don't worry about what is in style.

4. What clothing style would you like to see return ?

I'm pretty happy with todays relaxed casual clothing. Comfort is most important to me. SIMPLE is my style.

5. What charity or service group would you volunteer for if circumstances were right?

My recent experience with adopting a cat from the humane society has left me thinking about volunteering in the future. I would also enjoy working with the elderly or putting books on tape for the blind.

1. What do you do when you can't sleep?

Have some hot decaf tea with milk and read

2. Do you have a tip, bit of wisdom, or observation you'd like to share?

It's never too late to try something new (not original, but very applicable to myself!)

3. What clothing trend will you be so glad to see go out of style?

Showing too much skin - but I don't think we'll ever see an end to that

4. What clothing style would you like to see return ?

As far as fad clothing, I love 60's & 70's clothing (hated 80's - sorry, but never could abide huge shoulder pads - smaller ones ok, and the extremes in tapered pants, stillettos, etc.), but I would really love to see more updated, yet classic looking suits (with skirts & pants) that are comfortable. I love looking at a woman in a beautiful suit! I need to buy more, myself. I'm seeing visions of a modern Lauren Bacall or Kate Hepburn look. Love trousery stuff, yet love flared pants, too. As I age, I wish to do so gracefully & classically.

5. What charity or service group would you volunteer for if circumstances were right?

Women's shelters and children's advocate groups. Also, I'd love to spearhead our city's volunteer central headquarters & get our industries and businesses involved in volunteering. I think our businesses would benefit immensely by allowing their employees time off w/pay for volunteering in the community.

5)One day I want to devote part of my time to helping care for the babies in hopsitals.Have read about programs where people go and rock the babies. Also would like to work with people with terminal illnesses

3. & 4. I wear pretty much what I want regardless of style (casual, tailored, classic), but these are styles I'll be glad not to see on other people. I find that often the people showing the most skin are the ones who should be covering up. Yuck!

1. What do you do when you can't sleep?

Read! My daughter even gave me an "itty bitty book light" for Christmas

2. Do you have a tip, bit of wisdom, or observation you'd like to share?

I'm the most unwise person I know. My Dad always told me "Don't sweat the small stuff"

3. What clothing trend will you be so glad to see go out of style?

Super low pants on males and females! I think we're all agreeing on that one.

4. What clothing style would you like to see return ?

Nothing, really. It all just keeps coming back, anyway.

5. What charity or service group would you volunteer for if circumstances were right?

Anything with kids.
