Nervous as a cat today...

Is that a saying? Do cats get nervous? Well I'm jumpy!

Started the morning in a too long conversation with a friend before workout. Drove out of garage to go to workout (late), saw garbage cans not taken out, stopped car (driveway is on a hill) to go run the cans out to the street---THOUGHT I set the car in park :o)....

Do you know how WEIRD it is to see your car go down the hill without anyone driving it?

I moved funky fast and took off after it, something went WOW in my right hip flexor--ouch. Caught up with my car in my neighbor's front yard...next embarrasing thing Knock Knock on neighbor's door so early in the am, saying I will be home in 3 hrs if any plants need to be replaced let me know....

Ackkkk

then hit my leg on the car..car is mean today I've determined

So I'm walking like a peg legged pirate, my neighbor's think I'm nuts I'm sure, BUT I did get in two pretty good workouts, well two ok workouts--this new set includes a lot of hip flexor work and I couldn't do any on my right side.

No class tonight,, probably a good thing....I have to go to the Heart Ball meeting and lead my part of the auction, of which nothing really great has happened in a week!

Deb...."just another Manic Monday..."

Sometimes we just have days like that, Deb. I think it has to do with having too many things on our minds and we are on overload. I guess your hip flexor decided to tighten up when you sprinted for the car...no warm up and "pop"!

I am full of bruises. I am just doing too many things and have too many things on my mind. The upcoming bunionectomy is not helping at all and all the running around before it.

Hang in there. At least you got your workouts in and you are still in one piece.

Take care of that flexor pain - it can be miserable. I hope you have a better Tuesday - it can only get better, right?

Are Erin and McKenna coming to visit?

No warm up and pop on the hip flexor--you're right. Funny--before two years ago I didn't even know I had hip flexors, and how important they are to work! LOL..where would I be without Jazzercise.

So you're full of bruises, too? The mystery ones are interesting, I have them and don't remember bumping into anything.

Poor Deb. Hope your hip flexor is better today. What a way to start the week.

How about "nervous as a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs"?

WOW Deb what a day you had. Sorry it was so stressful and painful. Hey I do not know what a hip flexor is........lol, I am not kidding. I am glad you caught your car and stopped it before someone got hurt. Well I know you got bruised but it could have been worse. It happened to us once and it was scarey. Hope you are feeling better this morning.

It's better today!!!!

Erin and McKenna aren't coming up :(. Her hubby went up to WA on Monday while Erin and McKenna were still at Lake Tahoe. So that's how she was going to get up as far as the border, in the motor home with hubby. I'm working on a new plan now LOL!

You poor dear! I have days like that (actually, it isn't a day without me bumping into something). Hope you don't feel too many aches from those ouchies! So glad your car is ok.

Here's wishing you get to see that gorgeous niece of yours soon!
