Morning ladies, not as early as some of you but that soon will end. Summer vacation will be over soon enough and I guess I should start gettin up early. I have lots on my list to get done today, so there are many 15 minute projects. Upon finishing my first cup of tea I plan on going upstairs washing up and getting ready for the gym. Home for a shower, and then start on my list. My 3 greatfuls........1. Always my family 2. This great country we live it 3. A beautiful day outside to enjoy

Make that 2 balloons. Happy anniversary, Nancy, and happy birthday to your DH. May you have many more of both!

WOW Lori that is some bike. I have to say they are interesting, but they scare me. I have seen 2 accidents and I personally would not ride one. Its too congested here on LI. I wish you luck with it. Enjoy and becareful. Do you ride with hubby or do you ride alone?

Lori,

Hope Herb in the credit union comes through for you! We still have the 1973 Harley sportster sitting in the garage-unfortunately a house and 3 kids later we haven't ridden in years! It was a lot of fun when we did though! DH just can't part with it!

AF really shouldn't be that hungry.Even though she hasn't officially arived here I fed her cake yesterday.Homemade completely from scratch apple cake made by my sister.I'm hoping that counts as a fruit.

Love that story about your nephew, he sounds adorable and like a complete charmer.

I don't mind riding with DH, but I prefer to be in the driver's seat. Not to worry, I'm as careful as I can be. The rush is just too great. Actually, he's the one who wants that particular bike. I had my eye on a little Honda 750 but you know men. They all think bigger is better.

Tatting is one way to make lace. There are two methods, one involves the use of a 'shuttle' with a bobbin to hold the thread and the other is a long needle. I've got both and I'm learning the needle method first. You've probably seen tatted bookmarks...commonly in the shape of a cross. Very pretty and not as hard as I had imagined.

Oh--I posted my daily post under Cee's Post LOL!

But three positives:

I know there is a new angel in heaven--my cousin Barbara.

McKenna is healthy and happy--I check on her EVERY DAY. Yesterday she was in the backyard nude, at the cabin in Lake Tahoe, thoroughly enjoying being four weeks old.

I was anxious and making myself sick over the auction---went to the meeting and the ills are lifted...all is well :o)
