Yay!!I see Shar is back from her vacation. Shar, will be keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers. Tonight our fearless leader Phyllis gets back. She'll be so proud of how we all exercised and ate so very well.If , as in my case, you slipped up on any part of that I see no reason to tell her.

I see some posts are mentioning Fall. I love Fall but we've had such a short summer here I'm not in a big hurry for it this year.Though I did see some beautiful fall decorations in stores yesterday which got me alittle closer to being ready for it.

Ok, so what's up for everyone today?Anyone doing anything new and exciting?Anyone doing the same old same old and darn glad to be?Sometimes there is alot to be said for a routine in this crazy world of ours.

It's back to work for me today.New birdies arrive tomorrow. I barely had time to get lazy! Before I head out there I'm going to do a run here at home. And I'm going to make myself aware of my eating and do much better. It's suppose to be hot here today and I plan to

enjoy it while it lasts.

Have a super special day gang!!!!

Miss P

Gee, thanks for sharing. I ate a bowl of cherries for lunch. LOL! I could have made a meal out of your dessert!! What a heavenly combo! Also, I collect bread pudding recipes and like your idea about using the cherry walnut bread. Yum!

I had my run-in with viruses and worms last week. No fun at all. Hope you get those squared away soon.

Boston was one of the featured great walking cities in a recent magazine, and now I can't remember which one it was. I'll have to double check.

Looks like all systems are going again, so I'm back and working late to catch up.

Boston really is a great walking city. With the city not being a modern-day grid and so many roads being former cowpaths, not to mention the one-way streets and highway construction detours changing daily, and with a really better-than-average public transport system, it's the only way to go. I've been walking from one end of the downtown area to the other since I was a kid and my mom thought I was old enough. Not so much fun in the broiling heat and freezing cold, but manageable if you're a little tough, properly clothed and comfortably shod!

Sorry about the menu description, but the food and atmosphere really were wonderful. I figure Jazzer(y)Deb will be checking in and would enjoy reading about it. Plus, she and Eric stayed at the hotel and may have dined there when they were in Boston last, so it may bring back memories.

That should have been Cherrios. At least they were the berry ones.

The article that mentions Boston is in the September issue of "Fitness," p.128/

I was just kidding you about the lunch description. I enjoyed reading about it too. I can live vicariously!
