You can thank Jacques Cousteau for mine. In a Cousteau documentary filmed in the Papua-New Guinea region, a local chieftan gave one of Cousteau's crews a cuscus for a gift - a very high honor. The show probably didn't have more than 5 minutes of cuscus footage, but it was enough to make us fall in love with the animal, with its big eyes and cute call - a sort of throaty "rehhhh" sound, like the growl from old teddy bears with sound boxes http://pages.ivillage.com/cussette/cussette/cus_treed.jpg . Thirteen-plus years later, our pet name for one another is still "Cus" or "Cuscus"... or any derivative that strikes our fancy. It's pronounced "cuss-cuss", but we prefer how crew of Cousteau did: "coos-coos" like the Moraccan pasta. Hence, "Coos-ette" and "The Coos".

BTW, the crew of Cousteau released their funny little guy back into the jungle.

Cussette -

Mine's pretty obvious, too. Everytime my friends say that they are not, they look at me and say that doesn't apply. (LOL) I am pretty laid back, not too much upsets me. I have the attitude that something is only worth worrying about if I can do something about it, otherwise it's just not worth the effort! I'm pretty well let live-live.

So there you have it!

I got on the computer for the first time when I was 50. I wasn't very imaginative either and I needed something easy to remember because of meno brain. So...grace_50

Mine came from tracing our family tree down to Sir Thomas Wyatt the poet who brought the Italian sonnet to England. (Most people think it means kat is online).

Mine is 'mid life gal' because that's about where I am in life. About mid way. My kids are grown, have left the nest and I'm now enjoying my mid life. Nancy

In my case, probably wishful thinking, although my knees don't feel so young tonight.

Well, great question! My friends at work call me Sharona (after that song my Sharona), Sharona alone was not available at ivillage so I added my middle name.

Hugs
