So sorry to hear of how dry things have gotten for you all.Weather is everything, isn't it.Here we have been struggling to stay ahead of the rain and our yards.I don't ever remember having to mow this often in August. Now though we've gone a few days with no rain and it has gotten very hot. It's amazing how fast it does get dry,DH and I were just noticing that today.

Keeping you guys in our thoughts and hoping things improve.

Thanks Patty for the thoughts. We just keep hoping and praying for rain here. I guess what ever is going to happen, will happen, won't it? I think that farmers are the most optimistic people in the world. Always thinking that it will rain and always hoping for a better crop/more rain/whatever, next year! LOL Nancy

Heard tonight the west side of Jacksonville got more rain today than anywhere else in the nation -- 4-5 inches. We didn't get that much on our side (SE), but enough to cause accidents. Now, we have to be concerned about tropical storm #9, which could work its way up the east coast of FL. Oh, for a happy medium.

Hope the situation improves in your neck of the woods.

Rhonda
