prescription. BP was back on the borderline side so he's upped the dosage with another appointment in 2 weeks for a recheck and repeat blood work to check my potassium level-this is getting to be a real pain in the you know where. Between tests, dentist and dr appointments the first part of September is one appointment after another and trying to schedule them all within lunch hours or before work has been like putting a puzzle together. If I tried to get the bone density and mammo done at the same place I wouldn't be able to schedule until November so to get it done sooner I have to go to two different places on two different dates.

Did sign on the dotted line for the car though. I'm excited as well as very nervous. I haven't had a brand new car since 1975 when I bought my Datsun B-210. Providing everything goes OK with the credit check as of the first of the week I'll have me a 4 door 2003 Ford Focus, twilight blue, gray interior, single CD with MP3 player. It's just the right size for me to get back and forth to work. A lot smaller than the 1986 Ford Crown Victoria that I have been driving and yet if I need to take someone somewhere there's still room.

So that's been my day so far. Think I need to get some lunch, do some grocery shopping and nothing much else-I think my energy has been zapped!

Hope that BP goes down for you, Susan! Maybe a nice, leisurely drive in your new set of wheels this weekend will help.

Congratulations on the car! I drove a Focus & thought it was cute! I think a CD player is a necessity for a car! LOL! That's about the only time I get to listen to music!

Have a fun weekend.

Susan,

Congratulations on the new car. It sounds lovely. Wow a mp3 player too! I love my portable mp3 because I can listen to the music I want to rather than all the advertisments on the radio. The memory is so small it's a breeze to put it in your purse and go without cumbersome cd's.

I've been scarce lately so it's nice to sign on and see what everyone has been up to. I'm curious what med your doctor has perscribed and the dosage. My doctor has not checked my potassium levels but I may mention it on my visit on Tuesday because ever since I flew to MA three weeks ago I've been plagued with swelling in my left food and lower leg. It makes me feel so unhealthy when this happens. Seeing your post has made me realize I need to start getting some answers or possibly start looking for a new doctor.

Enjoy your new wheels!...........Margie

Susan, congratulations on your new car!! It sounds so nice, and you sound so excited. I know you're relieved to have that taken care of. Maybe that's what has made your blood pressure go up. Car buying is not fun until you get to take it home. The process is pretty nerve-wracking to me. Thank goodness Tim is an expert, and I don't have to deal with it. You will get so much better gas mileage with your new car. What a plus that is with gas prices going back up again. I'm really happy for you!
