Hope you all had a great weekend, you're rested up and ready to start off the new week. Hey, last week of August for those of us that don't like heat and summer. I'm really looking forward to getting through my morning clients so that I will have time for my workouts and planning my week. I'm ready to RECHARGE! DH is back to work, my clients and I are back from vacation and my body is ready to get reorganized, recharged and back on track. Anyone else like that? You do much better on a schedule or regiment?
OK.. for those of us that have been kind of operating by the seat of the pants...take charge of your life...let's do it! Make exercise a priority. Not something you will get around to if you have time. Take time to talk with your Creator. Not just fit Him in somewhere (if at all) between running out the door and driving to work. Take time for you!
What is your workout today?
***cardio only
15 minute project?
***way more than 15 minutes but, plan through September and get some filing done.
Have a super day!

I'm starving this a.m. - that's a good sign. Eating was right on target yesterday and am going to work hard to make it that way today. Full body workout with weights this a.m. is on my agenda. No more club membership after this week - am going to see if anyone is at the walking park around 6 a.m. I will be glad when the time changes only for the reason that it gets light earlier & I can go across the street to the track. I don't like the fact that it gets dark earlier, but that's a fact of lite. I love fall, so am looking forward to it.
15 min. project - take more clothes to women's shelter.
Have a marvelous Monday all!
Got the lawn mowed yesterday evening, so I will do some followup work in the yard today. Other than some things around the house and picking Rob up from jazz band at 4, not sure what I'll be up to.
Tonight, Tim and I will begin work on the Republican Women's Club newsletter. It will be my first one as editor, which is totally new for me. With such a short time frame until it needs be printed I'm a bit nervous about it. I know once I get one or two under my belt it will be easier. Still need to meet with some of the people who've contributed to previous issues. We also need a new printer. The first one is going to be devoted to remembering 9/11. That's the day of our first meeting for after summer break.
Make it a good one!

I am DEFINITELY ready to get moving. School starts a week from tomorrow. I feel like today is a new beginning. Attitude, attitude, attitude. I want this school year to be a good one for my children (and for me). I don't want us all stressed out each morning (and each evening), which means I need to adjust MY schedule to fit in MY workout, because if Momma ain't happy....you know the rest.
I've also noticed that after not really working out for several weeks and then picking it back up again (and not even at the same rate and intensity) my body responded quickly and my muscles toned right back up again...the little suckers have good memories! Just more proof that our body LOVES to be worked!
The bosses are all gone this week and I am in charge (at the church and at home...woo-hoo!). I've already made plans with my best buddy, Kim, to meet at the pool every day. I'm sure we'll also haul all of our darlings (6 between us) to Walmart and Target and elsewhere for school shopping and then for lunches. She has twin girls that are the same age as my youngest (who is a boy) and it is hilarious to see the interaction between the three of them...he is already a ladies man.
Oldest DS and I are heading out for our bike ride this morning. Bi-ceps, tri-ceps, lats and abs are on the agenda after that. Trying to get back to the schedule you did up for me, Phyllis.
Love you guys.

I am off to work shortly. Then I'll pick up a couple of things to try a new dish for supper tonight. It has shrimp, baby spinach and feta cheese. Sounds interesting. If it's good, I'll post the recipe.
DD and SIL are here for about two more days. They will be helping us out. I know that I'll have trouble getting a workout in while they are here. We'll be working our bodies pretty hard outside though. That will help use up calories. I'll try though. I know that DD will want to get some exercise in, too.
I'm off. Have a great one everyone.

I'm moving on back to work this morning-have to say I'm really NOT looking forward to it. I've already had two phone calls over the weekend about the antics of my most favorite co-worker! So I'm gritting my teeth and hoping the tension has eased. After telling me that ding bat not to call me on vacation she apparently called me Monday but DD conveniently forgot to tell me until Friday evening-bless her little heart for a convenient memory!
I'm going to make a list of little things that need to be done post work hours and hope to get to one project a day and not get overwhelmed by the list! I think today will be to finish folding and putting away my laundry. Workout will depend on how the work day goes-may need some quality time with Rodney or a good brisk walk or maybe both!
Hope your day is a good one!

I do much better on schedule. Unfortunately, DH is a seat-of-the-pants kind of guy. I just have to be firm about a few things and he doesn't really seem to mind. He knows that exericse is a priority for me and that I'm usually in a much better mood if I get my daily dose.
Having said that, today I'm taking a rest day. Kind of overdid it this weekend with all the shopping and walking and running around. Tonight is housework night and that's workout enough for today.
15 minutes project is to brush da bears. Might take a couple-three 15 minutes though.
Have a goo day!
