Good morning Workout Divas-

What's in the hopper for the day? Got your workout planned out, meals planned...are you set up for a successful day?

What are your top 3 positive post since last week?

Workout plans?

15 minute project?

=========Thought for the Day============

You CAN create the life you really want. Yes, it's true! It's all

about YOU, though. If YOU believe in yourself, what can't you

accomplish?

So, if you find yourself slipping into the "negativo" mindset.....Get

a grip! Stop focusing on what you can't do. Begin to believe in

yourself and KNOW you can do and create anything. Never give up on

your dreams. Never, never, never. -By Kristin Coach

Have a great day!

Good Morning! Phyllis, your are sooo right about having a positive mindset. It's amazing that we have the choice to make each day a positive one. I've been re-reading my book "The Four Agreements" because it really helps me to stay in the positive.

As far as exercise goes I think that I've found that the kinder/gentler approach is what works for me. I like my airgometer bike. I can get my heartrate up without any impact and because it has the arm movement I feel like I'm also toning my upper body. I will do 10 miles after work tonight.

My project today is to finish updating my address book. I spent a good part of Sunday afternoon updating the info and now I need to sort through the old stuff and toss a bunch of itsy bitsy scraps of paper I have spread all over my desk. I bought a new planner last month becuase mine was looking sad and I've still not transferred the info to the new planner. Updating the address book was my first step.

Hope everyone has a great day. Margie:)

Good morning! Day 3 of 40 Days of Purpose. Workout - Pilates for Weight Loss. 15 min. project - already did them - laundry & went out to Walmart to buy my Lord of the Rings Two Towers dvd.

Top 3's: 1. Danny's best friend's parents like him to come over and eat dinner after football. Of course, we aren't going to overextend the welcome.

2. Enjoyed having a clean home this week! LOL!

3. Had a very nice Sunday that was full or inspirational devotions.

Have a neat-o day. I'm hoping to get to skim the new Vogue issue with Nicole Kidman on the cover. Love looking at fall fashions.

Alrighty then! I'm a diva! WooooHoooo!!!

Step class this evening. Hotter than a pistol here this week so no walk planned. Got my meals all planned out. Yep, it's looking like a successful day here.

Positives:

1. In spite of what my father says, I can in fact ride a motorcycle that is "too big for me".

2. I've learned a thing or two about some of the things I've been reading. Internet research is the bomb.

3. I made it one whole day without a candy bar.

15-minute project: Start up the dishwasher!

Have a great day.

Good Morning~

Didn't sleep well last night. Up early. Stressing about everything I have to do this week. So, I got up and started doing it.

Will definitely get a workout in today. Treadmill, abs, squats & lunges. Super hot & humid here already. Bleck. Absolutely drains me.

Can't think of a single positive thing to post! I'm focusing on cleaning and laundry today and that's all I can think of!

15 minute project...have a dozen or more I want to accomplish today.

Hugs.

Sassy

Not sure if I'll get a workout today aside from pushing the vacuum cleaner, scrubbing showers and sinks and toilets, and heaving laundry baskets! DH is out of town today and most of tomorrow (coming in at midnight tomorrow night). This evening I'll be going to the kick-off dinner for our Church's Women's Ministry, but today I'm going to start sorting through Allison's old winter clothes and see what might be good for consignment.

Positives: (1) The Bombers baseball game and fireworks - fun! (2) Finding some clothes on sale and on consignment for Allison. (3) Having so many participants in the Care Train for Mason.

I had great plans for today but....DH and I ended up going to look at poultry equipment.I'm getting pretty excited, we're looking into putting 2 of the houses on a computer system. It should mean improved performance and less headache. On the other hand it means a loan to pay for it and that in itself is a headache.Where's a winning lotto number when I neeed it??

Flo has been slamming me in the head the past few days.As soon as some meds kick in I'm going back to CL and then hopefully going to do my weights.

Positives for the week; possibility of improvements on the farm, new chickens look good, diidn't tell company guy to take a flying leap!!!!

Heard back from him yesterday about the breed deal.He said I take things too personally which bothers me.He said some growers see the breed and just expect to do poorly and then do.I said it was discouraging to have decisions based on the most negative actions and that we are all given the same info but some chose to use it to improve. Anyway it ended with him saying if I felt I needed to know breed I could ask my service guy. How stupid is that? They won't write it on the cards when birds come in but if we ask we can find

out!!!!I swear the chickens have more sense than some of the company people!!

Better late then never with my post for today!

Woke up with a slaming headache but took some Exederine, and went back to sleep for an hour. Felt better after that. Made turkey bacon and scrammbled eggs for myself and the kids (they wanted to know why)and then organized the house a little. Took Katie across the street to DH and walked to and from Curves. They got 3 new machines which seem to be fun. I have recommited to trying the Curves Phase I this week again, hoping to stick with it for more then one week though.

My 3 thankfuls this week are:

1. Got a check for $4,200.00 for surrenering our old life insurance. This means my older son can have his teeth done this week and I can buy school clothes and supplies.

2. Our weather has cooled some, not as humid. Makes for a happier family.

3. My older son has decided to register for school to get his GED.

I had seen about that issue of "Vogue" and would like to get it. I got the "InStyle" with Selma Hayek on the cover -- cool corset dress. Isn't it weird to see the Mod clothes from the 60's back in again yet again? LOL!

Three positive things:

1. Tim had a productive trip to CA and got home safely, thank goodness.

2. Made a special dinner for him and had his robe all nice and clean for when he got in last night.

3. Had a conference with Rob's math teacher today to settle some questions. It was positive, so glad we did that right away.

Woke up with a headache, but Tim was exhausted from the long flight, so I took Rob to school. He was there by 6:25, and I was back home by 6:40. Took some medicine for the headache and went back to bed. The medicine worked, so it wasn't too bad. Didn't do a lot today except some laundry and housework. Went back to the school to get Rob this afternoon, then took him to a friend's house to work on a project, and will pick him up at 8. I feel like his taxi. I've been playing around on the internet and reading the new issue of "Self" that came in the mail today.
