Good morning-

First of all to answer Rhonda's question.....through the summer it was the last Wednesday of the month. For me, that was kind of through August. So lets start weekly chats beginning tonight.

Be thinking of what we can do for a new challenge and bring your ideas to chat tonight. We can do the old point system we did last year, revise it or come up with something entirely new.

I hate to say it but I'm still not completely in the swing of things. Work has picked up...a good thing. But we were so busy through the weekend, I'm still trying to catch up. I gotta get back in the gym.

What are you doing for a workout today?

***I swear I'm going to get to the gym for weights later this morning

15 minute project?

***For me...filing.

Good morning.This morning I'm heading down to CL and as soon as I finish in there I'm going to walk.It was after 8 til I got near my weights last night.Hopefully today I will get my workout done much earlier.15 min project will be paying some bills.I also need to look for my kitchen table, pretty sure it's under a pile of DH's stuff.

I'm happy to hear the chats are starting back up -- always look forward to those. I'm not in the swing of things either, but desperately need to be. Aunt Flo seems to have bypassed my house this month, and it is messing me up in vague ways.

I will do my Basic Plus workout today and want to get in some walking as well.

My 15 min. task will be to work on the September issue of the Republican Women's Club Newsletter and my column as Editor. I'm initiating a contest to come up with a name for the paper, so the column will focus on that. The members will vote, and we'll probably offer a gift certificate to a restaurant as the prize. Just something to generate interest and get the group involved.

Happy Wednesday! Hope to see many of you at the chat tonight. Be there at 9, if you wish to opine! (Do I sound like Bill O'Reilly??? ;-)

Good morning ladies. Its finally cooled down here in Minnesota land. Not sure if I will be making it to chat tonite. Dh and I are planning a bike ride and I don't know when we will return. So that is my exercise and my 15 minute project will be ....hhhmmmmm.... I don't have any at the moment but I'm sure one will appear throughout the day.

Phyllis, I know how you are feeling. It took me a good week or so to get back into the swing of things when I returned from vacation. But I figured that was a good sign that I really relaxed and enjoyed myself while I was gone. Sounds like you did too. Take care.

Busy day here, again. Heading out the door to walk to Curves. It adds a little over a mile into my workout. So that is good. I did very well on my eatting plan yesterday. When I get back from Curves, I need to shower, and then head out with Katie. We spent Monday and Tuesday school shopping and we are having trouble finding good sneakers she and I both agree upon. So after Curves we are out again. Then home to work for hubby in the afternoon for a few hours. Back at 4:30 to take Katie to her riding lessons, then off to return my cable TV boxes, and pay my bill. Cook dinner, heaven only knows what I will cook since there is nothing in the house. Maybe I will go to the store tonight after riding. Tomorrow my older son has an appointment at the oral surgeons to have 4 teeth pulled to that will be my morning with him. Life is crazy here! But I need to try and remain focused.

I'm going to try to make it to chat tonight. Choir is resuming, and since DH is out of town, I'll have to ready Allison for bed, but I should still have 20-30 minutes where I can be there.

She's in Mom's Morning Out this morning, and I'm getting ready to set out the sprinklers (dry spots on our lawn) and go run. I'd love to resume abs work, but I've still not gotten my consignment stuff ready. Argh! I think my full routines will have to wait one more week, and meanwhile I'll just run 3x a week.

today's weather is looking pretty good. At least it's not supposed to get over 90 degrees today. Good thing too. The AC went out last night. Hopefully the landlord will get the repair guys over today to get it fixed. At least it cooled off pretty nice last night.

Today I'm planning a walk.

15 minutes? No idea yet.

I'm too tired for any of it today - workout, 15 min. project, etc. etc. Would be nice if I was too tired to eat, LOL!

Got a wall-banger of a headache right now. Its not often that I get a headache and it came on me kind of suddenly after a meeting with my new boss.

Lost yet another pound last night. Must be those chocolate mint girl guide cookies and their weight reducing properties. (not likely!) Honestly, I'm not sure how or why, but I'll take the loss with a smile. :)

What are you doing for a workout today?

I'm taking a 4-mile walk to the mall this afternoon after work. Its too hot for a power walk, but at least there'll be some moving around.

15 minute project?

I dunno. I'll have to think about it.

Hi, everyone!

There will be a workout today - planning for the full workout, but might shorten it to 2 sets instead of 3. Cardio and stretching, too.

15-minute project - power nap when I get home. I didn't really wind down from the chaos yesterday and slept fitfully instead of restfully. The tryptophan from the grilled turkey tips I had for lunch should help with sleep tonight.

I did UB weights. it's been a few days so I was really feeling it by the end. And of course, afterward, I discovered that the hot water heater decided to die. So quick rinse time... The guy can't come out til tomorrow.
