I brought up challenge last night in chat but got no response at all. Come one ladies. All of us have been talking too much about not being able to get back on track. We need a challenge. Remember in May and June when our name was posted for our miles? We blew away everyone else....we can do it again.

I'm proposing we start Sep 1. We haven't challenged hours worked out yet. I'm talking time for stretch, running, weight training, jazzercise...everything. Let's see how many hours we can rack up and get our name back up on the top of the board.

Now....who's going to do this with me????

I was thinking an end date of Sep 30th. Then we could start a new challenge for October. Perhaps hours of yoga, pilates...or something else that we haven't tried before to keep us trying something different and promote cross training. November and December should probably be something special to keep us on track during the holidays.

You can count me in. Unfortunatly I do not go for hours at a time like some of these human dynamos here, but my 45 minutes can not hurt. So sign me up!!!!

That's one reason I was thinking hours might not be the best measure for the workouts. Some people just don't have the time, and other workouts don't require hours to give their benefits. I don't want to see anyone get discouraged because their hours don't measure up to some of the other members'. Just my opinion...

Your 45 minutes is a great contribution. This isn't meant to be a competition with each other. Just for everyone to get moving again and hopefully even kick it up a notch. I don't work out as much as some people do either but, I do know that I can add a little time to my workouts.

I'll find out if I can create a new header and how to do it. We'll post each week on Monday morning. I'll be "callin" for hours worked on each Monday through September

I know its supposed to be a personal challenge. I average 45 minutes between walking, stretching, and actually doing to rotation at Curves. Actually it may push me to make a small walk at night with the dog, or my dd for the extra 15 minutes. Either way I have made my own chart for my food journeling and on there is a place for amount of time exercising. I am very flexible for what ever works for any or everyone else.
