What are you eating today? Are you putting healthy things in or harmful things?

Me:

Too many cups of coffee (seems to be an issue)

1 egg & 1 egg white, scrambled with a thin slice of Havarti melted on top

Glass of choc soy

Water

Think Healthy...look at harmful food as a toxin.

Hugs.

Sassy

Not a great start - 1 cup coffee, several cups decaf, one oatmeal/strawberry bar - woman on the run.

Light on the eating this morning, off to a running start.

1/2 cup of cottage cheese, with my cup of tea. Just having a chocolate curves shake made with vanilla soy milk. Lunch as planned is going to be a small salad with a cucumber sliced on top and a can of tuna with mayo.

For breakfast I had my homemade smoothie which consisted of 1/2 a banana, frozen strawberries, frozen peaches, van.soymilk, and juicy juice. For lunch I had BBQ pork on a bun. Dinner will consist of vegies, vegies, and even more vegies. Stopping at the farmers market after work to pick up all the fresh ones they've got! Yum yum!

I'm getting ready to find some pasta somewhere. I have a craving for pasta & veggies in a garlic wine sauce. Knowing my luck, no one in this town does such a thing so I printed off recipes for Chicken Marsala, Chicken Scarpariello, Capellini Carbonara, & Chicken Piccata. I think I'll have an Italian cooking fest over the weekend & my days off next week! Have to have a little fun before Phyllis cracks that whip thing.

So far, not much, but lately late afternoon and evening seem to be my downfall. I've tried to clear the house of fattening snacks, since my willpower has been so poor. Also, need to get back in the habit of drinking water.

Breakfast -- 2 hardcooked eggs, tea

Lunch -- Turkey and Dijonnaise on whole wheat bread

Dinner -- Will be:

Grilled salmon with cucumber dill sauce (that I was going to make last night)

Mixed fruit salad (peaches, plums, nectarines, strawberries, and blueberries)

Simple garden salad

Now, if I can just keep any snacks healthy!
