Good morning Fit and Fabulous women-

I was tossing and turning from 0300 this morning so I just decided to get up. I'm not sure when I will fit in a workout today. This is going to be a hectic day. I usually have Friday afternoons off. But, I do have Saturday - Monday off so that's great. Perhaps a little yoga this afternoon.

What are your plans for the day?

15 minute project?

Have a fabulous day!

I can't find a 'I'm tired and in a funk' icon for today. And after reading how much you are all getting done today, I feel rather like a slug for even posting like this....but I guess I can't help the way I feel and I will just let you all know. (this might be the time to click onto another post that is more positive).

I am tired. I have been so tired lately and with company here for five nights, we stayed up a bit later than usual and I cooked more and just worked more. It was fun, though, and very much worth it. I am in a funk now...the company was dd and her husband. They helped us and we had so much fun while working. I am always in a slump when the kids leave and this one has hit me particularly hard. I think it is because I'm also very tired. And Aunt Flo should be arriving soon and that (I know) is part of my funk.

I am craving foods that I know I should not have. I ate terribly this last week. Sweet corn from the field...but we get it only a week or two out of the year so I figured I'd best enjoy it while we have it. And I'm craving foods. And I'm crabby and I'm headachy and .....should I go on? No, I guess I won't.

I haven't even been posting much lately because I was so busy while the kids were here and now I'm in a funk and didn't want to seem so negative. Finally I just decided to tell you all what a slug I am the last two days and to have you send bit 'butt kicks' my way so that I can get out of this funk.

I am on my way to work again today. Yesterday was a nasty day because everyone at work was in a cranky mood and with my mood I just didn't hanle it well. I let it get to me so I was in a bad mood last night. I hope that today will be better. I'm ready for the weekend off and hope that dh won't just want to kick my bottom out of the house. LOL No,he's the best and will just give me a big hug! In fact, I think I'll go talk to him right now. I need one. Nancy .... in a funk lately.

I feel your funk, Nancy. Go get your hug and feel better soon.

So what you ate sweet corn? It's good for you and it tastes good. Enjoy it while you can, I say.

Well, it sounds to me as though your funk is perfectly reasonable. You're overworked, overtired, and Aunt Flo is messing with you. Good grief! It's OK to feel in a funk once in a while. Give yourself credit for all that you do, try to baby yourself a bit, and the funk will probably pass on its own. You deserve a break today -- more than McDonald's!

Hugs,

Rhonda

Definetly not feeling Fit nor Fabulous this morning. Another sleepless night and another headache.

Goal for the day-get through the grocery store without buying out the oreos and hopefully a sane moment or two.

Workout-don't know-depends on whether DH travels into the hospital this evening.

15 minute project-none planned-wouldn't know where to start anyway.

Not sure if I'll exercise today, either - gotta pack for another weekend at MIL's. I knew this was going to be another crazy week!

15 mintue project?! OMG, I did 2 months' worth of 15 minute projects all day yesterday! I don't want to do any more for a while! I posted about that separately.

Hey Kat if you do not take care of you then no one will. Please treat yourself good and try to get better. Sometimes it sounds like you push yourself very hard with 2 jobs. Feel better and try to get some rest, (((hugs)))

Nancy,

Sending you a great big hug. I know exactly what you mean about the post company funk. I've been experiencing being tired for a week now. I can't explain it but while the kids were staying at the house I was going to bed late and getting up early without any problems. The minute the left it was like my body began demanding the lost sleep.

Hope the funk moves on soon!........Margie :)

Aren't you the busy bee this morning. Sluggish here, and I wish I knew why. Keep up that pace Rhonda and you can come up to NY and do my house!!!
