check-in for the day. I finally have something different!! ;-)

I got some cereal that's new for me. It's a healthy type, but got it at the grocery store.

It's called Organic Optimum Slim (not very exciting) by Nature's Path. It's endorsed by the American Heart Association, has 11 g. fiber, 9 g. protein, 25% RDI calcium, and soy isoflavones, and the serving size is 1 cup instead of 1/2 a cup. It has all kinds of organic grains in it, is low fat, 180 calories, and actually tastes good. I cut up some dried apricots and put vanilla soy milk on it -- tasty!

I was embarrassed to post it this morning since I've been awake since 4:45, up since 5:30 and have eaten two choc chip cookies, a couple cups of coffee and just got back from Starbucks with my whole milk latte.

YIKES!!!!!!!

Mmmmm! Sounds good! I was beginning to think I was the only one who'd eaten today.

I was doing really well today. Even had the Fandango salad at Panera Bread Co. for dinner, but gave in to the chocolate raspberry (my downfall) brownie with white chocolate shreds on top. It was so good! I'm telling myself it was my reward for all the manual labor I did today. After I mowed, I went back out and did a lot of shrubbery trimming. And, hey, it's a holiday weekend! Now what else can I come up with to rationalize it?
