Good morning-

Welcome Ciro and Cinderella. Great to have you join us.

I was hoping to get on th board this morning and see the 2 new headers (goals, challenges) would be added. They were supposed to be added by the end of the day. I'll send out an email again if I don't see them by this afternoon because.....Monday starts our challenge.

Be thinking of goals if you would like to post on that as well. We'll pick our top 3 goals for the week and then see how we follow up on short term goals. Hopefully this will strengthen us all to commit to a long term plan. How many hours you might put in the the challenge might even be a weekly goal. Just thinking out loud.

OK...watcha doin' today?

Have a fabulous weekend....start working on those goals and putting together your workout plan. Challenge yourself...amaze yourself.....be proud of yourself!

Good morning everyone. We have temps in the lower 50's this morning and only supposed to get to the upper 70's. What a switch from the last two weeks. We've had temps in the upper 90's and lower 100's for about two weeks. Broke several records here.

The house is opened up, the air conditioner is off and it's so great getting some fresh air. I love it when I can have the front door open, with only the screen between me and the outside, the deck door open and the fresh air flowing through.

I am planning a lazy day here today. I will get things done but it will be slow and at a super slow speed. I am not feeling very ambitious. I'd sit and read a book all day out on the deck but I haven't touched my kitchen for two days and it looks like a hurricane came through. So I'd best do something there. And I need to mow but will tackle that later on today. I do plan on quitting for the day early, though, and getting some quality relaxing done.

As for my goals....I'm having a bit of a problem focusing on that right now. I'll try to do that today and see if I can work on my September goals. I could certainly use some. I haven't exercised for 8 days now. I've been a 'lump' and a 'frump' and in an 'eating frenzy' so it should probably be stopped. Hmmmmm.

Have a good one everybody.

Susan, glad to hear you are feeling better today. That was nice of your dh to make you breakfast. Enjoy your new *do*. I'm in desperate need of a cut and colour myself. Maybe next week.

I'm hoping with Adam going off to kindergarten and only having Max at home, I'll get a bit more free time. (No refereeing required!) I seriously want to get my eating back on track. I'm pretty pleased with the fact that I haven't gained over the holidays, but still have 10-15 pounds I'd like to dump! So, now that I've had my *break*, I'm ready for a new start Sept. 1.

Today is going to be pretty laid back. It was dd's 23 birthday, so we will be doing dinner for her tonight. Probably lasagne (her favourite), and ice cream cake for dessert. I guess I'd better squeeze it in before Monday, right! LOL

Have a great weekend everyone.
