Hell-o ladies.

Just checking in...how did everyone do today?

Had a warm-up on the treadmill and then DH and I did circuit training. Lats, biceps & triceps and 3 sets of killer abs. Feeling the burn this afternoon.

Dr. Phyl...you were right about the lat pull-downs. They rock. Used the curl bar for biceps.

Tomorrow just cardio.

Monday...legs!

Raining here. Boys are back from baseball practice...apparently cancelled again. Dinner with the outlaws tonight.

Love you guys.

Sassy

It was a good day exercise wise. Eating was another story. It felt good to do the walking this morning. Feel a bit guilty about the mess that remains in the house but it's been a long difficult week so it was fun playing hookey. DD is down in the dumps over the job situation. She wants to move on with life and would love to be able to get a place of her own. It was nice to get out of the house for. We went to Ikea and had fun looking around at all the things that she would furnish an apartment with. We also went to the fabric store and bought a beautiful piece of remant material to make a chair cushion for grandma's rocking chair. She loves the chair and I told her that someday it would be hers. So we had a nice day together. Dinner was a thrown together disaster with people running in and out. DD's BF was here and DS and we had some entertaining conversation that just made me laugh!

Did not post this morning, had the lazy dazies with hubby and my motivation was minimal. But after he left for his errands and to drop Katie over to my sister I got moving. Katie went with my sister to the Hampton Classic today giving me time alone........whoopie! I walked/ran on the treadmill for 35 minutes. Very hot and humid, and thank goodness we finally got the rain we needed. But it lingered and hung in the air all day. Anyhow, I ate well, and stayed low on the carbs. Ran to the butcher store for my cold cuts, and my weekly meats. That was about $75.00 worth. Came home and put it all away and back to the grocery store, where I fought my way through the isles. It was busy! Did almost $200.00 worth in Stop and Shop, brought it home and hubby helped carry it in. Had some iced tea, and out we were again. We headed out to the Hamptons to bring Katie home, and grabbed some dinner................Burger King! I know but it was sooo soooo good. Just one Whopper, a small fry, and a Diet Coke. Back on track tomorrow. Actually we are off to the race track tomorrow. Hope you all had a great day!

Did my 45 min. Pilates (Pilates pants, mat, and all!). My legs are worn out! I really feel relaxed and stress free, though. I felt like death warmed over after putting in my 4 hours at work, so I couldn't make myself go for the powerwalk. I am starting to wheeze (asthma) so I may have to call the doctor Tuesday.

Ate quite well today. Had 2 pieces of toast w/a little peanut butter & honey & OJ for breakfast, a Caribbean Chicken salad (my homemade salad w/my homemade honey lime dressing) and for dinner, I had a yogurt & pineapple/orange smoothie (just not very hungry by the end of the day with this cold).

Took a cold p.m. pill and am ready to hit the hay. Have to get up and make a cinnamon streusel, sausage crescents, and fruit tray for SS class.
