1. Get moving-Yes, even if you don't feel like working out. Commit to 15 minutes of cardio, weight training or whatever moving activity you like to do. Chances are that you will feel better that you got moving rather than just sitting and thinking, "I know I should do it but I don't feel like it."
2. Unclutter-Clean out an overflowing drawer, clean off your desk, organize a closet. Its your first step to uncluttering your life.
3. Write a love letter-to yourself, your spouse, your child or parents. Let someone know how much you appreciate them, including yourself.
4. Shopping therapy-Even something small like a new nail polish, lipstick, pair of earrings.
5. Treat yourself-to a facial, manicure or pedicure at home. Or, splurge and go to a spa. Go to the makeup counter at your favorite store and try a look you wouldn't normally try.
6. Haircut or color-Be adventurous, try something new.
7. Photo album-You know all those pictures you still have in the envelope or thrown in a box? Organize them and put them in a book. You can do the same with all the recipes you have clipped from magazines.
8. Devotional time-Take time to spend with God or whatever higher power you beieve in. Its always a good investment of time.
9. Watch something that will motivate you-It might be a movie, the Style Channel (The Look for Less) or something else that lifts your spirits.
10. Turn on some great music and dance. Set your soul free!
11. Get quiet-yoga, meditation, journaling. Take some time to reflect on what's going on in your life and better yet..what you WANT to happen in your life.
12. Take some time to spend with your pet-Of anyone, who shows more appreciation for just spending time with them or a good scratch behind the ears?
These are just a few things that come to my mind.....add on to the list!
