Okay, I know it's kind of early for a check-in, but I wanted to take advantage of this computer time I have as goodness knows a teenager needs his social life on the computer!

How is everyone's Labor Day going? I got in my UB/LB weights & abs workout, then we went fishing until it rained. I also did my cardio walk/run around the lake & in the forest - fun! The temps are great out here due to the rain. I just finished my Pilates. Grand total time: 2 hrs. & 40 min. Obviously, this is a vacation day for me, so this kind of time won't be my norm. It was fun, though. Now, it's off to read a good book and then get ready for work tonite.

Hugs,

Kat

I did great! Did shoulders and chest instead of legs, but I'll just do legs tomorrow instead of shoulders and chest!

Having BBQ chicken (on the grill), baked potato chips (taters sliced thin, sprinkle a bit of garlic powder on them, drizzle a bit of olive oil over an pop in the oven...my kids adore them!), baked beans, fresh cooked carrots.

We just won't talk about the lemon pudding, ice cream and banana walnut muffins I have slated for dessert!

;)

Where's the yummy icon? Those taters sound so absolutely yum! My eating wasn't great today, but whose is on their birthday? My breakfast was reasonable - 2 little sausages, 1 biscuit w/jelly & a nice bowl of fresh fruit. However, for lunch it was a Wendy's single w/cheese and 3 oatmeal raisin cookies (I'd rather have cookies than cake). But I did drink all 8 glasses of water!! I feel like I'm carrying an ocean in my tummy! Swishee, swishee & boy will they love me at Dillard's tonite when I make 10 million trips to the ladies room! Hehe! I guess I'll eat a salad w/chicken for dinner & be good.

You're sweet, Patty, but that's basically all I did today, work out & read! I only have to work 3 1/2 hours tonite. Gosh, I wish everyday was like this! Maybe I'd get off my duff and clean some! Oh, I guess I better do some of that tomorrow 'cause I'm off from my day job again! Poor me! LOL!

Hey Kat! Labor day is going great so far.

Went out to Jazzercise class this morning at 9:15. 50 people in class today since there were only 2 sessions on the holiday. It was packed! What a trip! Met some new people. Went to the coffee shop with DH and his younger son, Aaron. Poor Aaron is breaking up with his live-in girlfriend and she is driving him nuts. Total control freak and OC nightmare. He just can't take anymore. So we sat there with him listening and giving him oodles of unsolicited advice until I was nearly poinsoned to death on second hand cigarette smoke and called a halt to the deliberations. Went home on the bike and took a nice long 1 hour walk to clear my head and my lungs. Still anticipating a short yoga session tonight which should bring my total today to 2 hours and 20 minutes. This won't be my norm either, but I had to take advantage of the time when I could. It was so rainy yesterday that I watched a couple movies. Think I'll finish up the one I stopped in the middle of yesterday.

I did pretty well today. Thought I was pretty cautious on my food choices and intake. I biked for 45 minutes this morning, walked the trails at the state park this afternoon for 1 hr., and just finished with my weight training which lasted 30 minutes. Sure wish I too could do this everyday. But work starts tomorrow and I won't have the time in those days for this much....but will do my best!

WOW! Aunt Flo arrived and I struggled but I pushed. I did 45 minutes on the treadmill. Had a house full of company but ate too much. Tomorrow is back to low carbs for me.

Did pretty well today. Did have a bit of the munchies this afternoon that I was combating. I guess Otto was too since he was staring at me and his bowl at 3:15. So Otto and I headed out for a walk in spite of the drizzle. I let Otto lead the way and he took a very different path than his usual. Guess he needs a little variety once in a while too! By that time my munchies had subsided and I opted for a nice bowl of fresh fruit but he was still ready for supper! I hope before the evening is over & I'm completely ready for bed to get some yoga in.

See ya in the AM!

Kat, I did really good today. I got 30 minutes of walking in on the treadmill before I got ready and went to work. I walked a little over two miles so I was 'hoofing it'. After work tonight dh and I went for a 70 minute bike ride. So I got plenty of exercise in today. And I ate pretty well today. I'm off to a good start.

Nothing on the first day - we were at MIL's, did a little pool time (only swam 2-3 laps), then packed and headed home. Evening was unpacking and catching up on various things.

Still, my goals are 5-6 days of exercise. As of this morning (day #2), I'm on track.
