So.....how's everyone doing on Day Two of our challenge?

I woke up really looking forward to my workout today. My morning didn't go as planned, but I DID get my workout in this morning...cardio, legs (LOVE that squat bar) and abs.

Eating has been okay. Catching up on my water right now. Light dinner tonight.

Let's hear your progress, girls (it helps in encouraging ALL of us).

Hugs.

Sassy :)

I got a good workout in on my treadmill this morning.Eating has been so/so.DH came home with muffins from Costco the other night. He even remembered my favorite kind.In about 10 pounds that would be great but not now!!!I put them in the freezer today so I wouldn't be so tempted.I'll get an extra workout in tonight thanks to the chickens.Tubing came off the hopper and now I have feed to scoop up.I was hoping to get done early but this will mean a late night.Whoever said "going to bed with the chickens" never had a chicken farm!!

Ate my cheerios/craisins/walnuts/vanilla soy, and drank my oj and decaf for breakfast - kept it down, too.

Got nervy at lunch and had a grilled salmon salad and another cup of decaf. The salad greens and little tomatoes still don't like me too much. Or maybe it was the 1/2 Dove Dark bar.....

Dinner: planning bbq boneless pork ribs and broccoli. I figure it'll kill me or cure me. Add rice pilaf for DH.

Wish me luck...

Had a good day here. Went to Curves as planned. Did some light house work, showered and then headed upstairs with the ironing board. Did all my ironing, hemmed one out of 3 pairs of new pants we bought for Katie for school. I promised to do the other 2 tomorrow when she leaves. I have them pinned already. My eatting went well, stayed away from the carbs as planned. Lets see if I can continue into the night since Aunt Flo is here and I feel the need for some chocolate.

I did my workout this morning, as planned, then had a 3 1/2 hr. "lunch" with 2 friends discussing changes to our club newsletter, upcoming events, etc., and then heading across the street to the printer's to get info. from them. It was very productive, but I have my work cut out for me! Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to do anything more physical and will probably be at the computer for quite a while to meet this deadline.

I did have water this morning, and again, didn't have a chance to eat breakfast. I almost never do that, but have a few times lately. I had a regular house salad with grilled chicken on it and balsamic vinegrette with a glass of water and a glass of tea. Did have a bowl of rice pudding with raisins, which is one of my favorites.

We'll grill out steak and have roasted veggies (red, yellow, and orange peppers, asparagus, onions, tomatoes, zucchini, and yellow squash) for dinner.

Feeling pretty good about the day!

Ive had a good day overall. I got my workout in early and I've eaten well all day and avoided the Hershey Kisses that kept calling my name. Do you really want to know how many times I walked past that bag today? It was actually quite mellow at work today and I was pretty much close to just being out and out bored but everyone was feeling rather letharic, headachy and in my case very SLEEPY. We all think it's due to the weather so my biggest problem was the near miss that I had with my head hitting my desk. I got so sleepy at work this afternoon that I was sitting there with my head sort of resting on my hands and I actually must have dozed off-it was a good thing the phone rang or I actually might have hurt myself! Hope to get through the after dinner munchies and hoping that an after dinner walk with Otto will revive me. I now really need to go figure out what to make for dinner as I'm feeling very uncreative and lazy!

Isn't that the worst feeling when you're fighting sleep out somewhere in public?? I usually have it happen in seminars. One time I had to go in the restroom and put cold water on my face and do jumping jacks to try to wake myself up!!

Wouldn't it be nice some salad place made deliveries?? Salad Hut??? LOL!

I got in 45 minutes of cardio this morning. Guess I'll have to move my chest, shoulders triceps to tomorrow to do along with back, biceps. I just had to get those carpets cleaned this afternoon.

JW and I are heading out to dinner when he gets home. Today is 8 long, hard years of being married :-). We're just going to a place that has a salad bar since we are both back to dieting.

Good to hear everyone is doing so well. I think we all needed to get with the program!!!
