Good morning-

I already started on a dangerous potential trend. I didn't do my upper body workout yesterday. Since I really wanted to clean the carpets so I opted to put it with todays workout. That's how it gets started in skipping workouts. I want you to all line up and kick me in the butt...ouch!

Today my 15+ minute project is to catch up on my chapters in Purpose Driven Life before Bible Study this afternoon.

Workout will be shoulders, biceps and triceps while I'm on the triceps...not recommended and then back.

What's going on with you today?

After adding 21 minutes last night to my workout because I wouldn't be able to run, I ran this morning. Back up - I did abs before taking DD to Mom's Morning Out, came back and did leg lifts, then out for a run. A neighbor lady caught up with me (easy enough - her pace was faster), but kept pace with me, and we got to know one another in 3 miles. She's a former marathoner getting back into running after a hip injury sidelined her for 5 months. Unfortunately, our schedules don't coincide often, but I think we might try to get together Saturdays to run on occasion. She was chalk-full of info about local runs!

Anyway, got back from my run (30-35 minutes or so), did a little UB work. Yikes - I'm still feeling it from yesterday! So I just did about 7 minutes.

Other than that, I'm sticking to healthy eating (exception of dessert last night at our friends' house), and starting each day with God's Word.

15 min project, probably to sort through the e-mail pictures I printed off yesterday, and stuff things in folders for my photo albums. I'm behind in that, and the clutter on the kitchen island is getting out of hand!

Hi, gang ..

My workouts include the Firm's Lower Body Sculpt II and Cathe Friedrich this evening.

My fifteen minutes will be folding the growing mound of clean clothes in my bedroom! We've moved into our house a few weeks ago, and I got my room neat enough to work out in!!

Et tu??

Hello everyone. I had today at home but have been busy working on projects. I think all of my projects were waaaaay longer than 15 minute projects so....

I got a 45 minute power walk in this morning. Feeling good about that. I've done very well with my morning workout plans. Got two workouts in on Monday, one yesterday (wouldn't have gotten it in if I hadn't done it early in the morning because I had two meetings last night), and one today. I have the fitness magazine's hips and legs workout that I'd like to try tonight for a bit more exercise.

We're heading out tomorrow for a long weekend so I'll be off the board till next week. Have a good one everyone.

Great yoga workout - I love it when I get there and really feel centered and strong. Also got in a nice walk at lunchtime. Did some really light bicep work after yoga - those margaritas just went down really well ;-) Actually, though, I didn't do too bad other than the chips and salsa. They have a really nice tequila lime shrimp meal that, if you don't eat the beans and rice served with, is pretty healthy. Ended up having a pretty great b-day!
