Good morning ladies-

How is the challenge going for you so far? Let's be sure in put in our time. I love to see when we blow everyone away on the diet and fitness board.

Today is our thankful day. What are you thankful for since last Thursday?

Have a 15 minute project for the day? No, want some of mine?

======Inspirational Word========

1 Corinthians 10

12So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don't fall! 13No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.

Have a wonderful day and pass along a few smiles!

Phyllis

Thankful for goals that include reading God's word!

Thankful for MIL and her kindness and hospitality.

Thankful for a cooperative, loving, happy daughter.

Thankful for a husband who can pop my back whenever it's tight!

I'm thankful the rain is stopping and they're callin' for fall-like, dry, sunny days at least through NEXT FRIDAY. Yippee!

I'm happy that my favorite football player landed a deal worthy of him - with the team playing the Patriots the first game of the season. I'm happy for him, but sad that he'll be wearing another team's uniform. Talk about divided loyalty! Between that and the Red Sox annual agonies, sports talk radio up here is wild.

Since my only workout yesterday was the 15-minute jog through the grocery store (I sat on the couch when I got home and promptly fell asleep - at 7:30), I'll do it tonight - treadmill, UB, and some LB moves. Abs, too, and stretching. Hope to reach 1.5 hr.

Have a great rest of the day, everyone!

Today, I am thankful for re-connecting with old friends. I've been doing a bit of that lately, and it is amazing how some things don't really change, they just get better with age.

I am also thankful for new friends. And for all of you - you keep me on track, just knowing you are here, even though I haven't had time to post much lately.

Another thankful I almost forgot about, but can't - My poetry muse has returned!!! Yay! She has been beating me over the head and not letting me sleep, but I put a couple of good things down on paper. They are not ready to share yet, although I did put one on my web page.

I haven't posted any time yet since we started the challenge, but let me try to sort it out....

Monday - 2 hours walking

Tuesday - 30 minutes walking

Wednesday - 30 minutes walking and 1 hour yoga

Thursday - 1 hour walking

Happy Thursday all!

I just realized I didn't add my thankfuls.

1. Had a great Purpose Driven Life study yesterday. There were just 2 of us and it went really great.

2. With all I'm hearing about the war, I'm thankful that my DH didn't have to go this time.

3. As always, I'm thankful for my health and that I have a nice home to live in.

4. Thankful for my little pooch. She's such great company and will be great to cuddle with while DH is gone.

Got my workout in this morning and then decided Sheba needed to get out for a while. We went to a lake that is close by and got in a little quality time.

I read in today's paper that one of the churches here in town is doing a program on "The Purpose Driven Life" as part of a nationwide group. They read one chapter a day and have discussion groups. I will have to check that book out after I read a few I have already waiting.

I found some really pretty camel shoes by Bandolino. They have kind of a square toe, but not extreme, a thin medium high stacked heel, a small buckle accent on the side of the front and a very thin strap across the front of the foot where it joins the ankle. I like them a lot. Now, I'm in the mood for some new black heels. I need to go through my closet and get rid of some old shoes and clothes. Wish I could pitch most of my clothes and start over. I also got a pretty turquoise T-shirt, but my big purchase was 5 shirts for ROB! He's growing so fast that he needs some replacements. None of this came from the new SteinMart. It was nice, but I didn't see anything I couldn't live without there, and I didn't win the gift drawings. Drat! The mall is actually having some better sales now than they did. Some things are 60% off, and another 50% off that!!! Unfortunately, most of what I like is not marked down or is only 25% off. Saw some really cute denim jackets (one I want) and thought of JazzerDeb.

Wound up only walking today, but for about an hr. Did a lot of jumping in-and-out of the car, if that counts for anything. Eating is still off. I don't even want to go there!

Tim's flight from Chicago was delayed, because flights up-and-down the East Coast were delayed or canceled due to bad weather. At one point, we thought he might have to spend the night in Atlanta, but he called and said they made it there in time to catch the flight to Jax. He should get in town about midnight. I don't know how he goes the way he does!

Folded about 7 loads of laundry tonight that had piled up over a few days. I'd throw them in the washer or dryer before I'd take off around town and wouldn't get the chance to fold them and put them away. At least that's done.
