***Other than hooker style makeup (particularly on young teens, it would be the demarcation line of foundation on the jar, so your face looks like a mask.
2. Who would you most like to see have a makeover in a magazine (other than yourself)?
*** A toss-up between Tammy Faye Baker and Christina Aguilera, although I think Tammy has the edge. Who is that masked woman???
3. Fess up, what do your feet look like at the end of the summer? My heels are dry and my toenails need to be repolished. Ugh!
4. This may require some thought, do you have a cherished possession that immidately brings up special memories when you see it(them)? Not obvious things like wedding rings or photos.
***I have several that come to mind, and there are probably more. My Hallmark
Christmas ornaments I've been collecting since the mid-seventies, the children's teeth they lost that the tooth fairy kept, and their "silkys" (blankets they had as babies). My garndmother's piano that's over 80 years old is special too.
5. What new TV show are you looking forward to seeing this fall?
***The first one I thought of is The Whoopi Goldberg Show.

2)Can't think of anyone
3)Really awful!!
4)Special Christmas ornaments and a stuffed green dog named Pickle that DH got me years ago.
5)Can't remember the name of it, but it's about a small town.In the previews 2 women are discussing that a woman in town MUST be having an affair because she is losing weight in winter and that is the only explanation.Looks like fun.

Too much of it
2. Who would you most like to see have a makeover in a magazine (other than yourself)?
Noone
3. Fess up, what do your feet look like at the end of the summer?
I for one, am one that feels ALL feet are ugly so I do whatever I can to keep mine looking their best. I buff, soak, polish, trim, and do it all, ALL the time to keep them looking as good as can be.
4. This may require some thought, do you have a cherished possession that immidately brings up special memories when you see it(them)? Not obvious things like wedding rings or photos.
Music is what brings back special memories. Also my tattoo's because they were gotten in memory of loved ones passed.
5. What new TV show are you looking forward to seeing this fall?
I have two. I can't remember the name of the first one but its about this girl that sees God in others. Everytime she sees Him He's in a different body. Its basically about her and her family....I think. It just sounded really interesting.
My other one, of course, would be SURVIVOR! Whahoo! Can't wait!
2. Who would you most like to see have a makeover in a magazine (other than yourself)? I would love to see my mom have one done. She is a no frills mom. Never treats herself to those kind of things. He idea of makeup is lipstick.
3. Fess up, what do your feet look like at the end of the summer? I keep my piggies nice now. I get a pedicure every month.
4. This may require some thought, do you have a cherished possession that immidately brings up special memories when you see it(them)? Not obvious things like wedding rings or photos. Actually this was easy. I have a few things and they all remind me of my grandmother, Bapchi. I have a stuffed animal (a collie), a teapot, and a Polish doll. All were hers that I used to play with when I was a kid and I used to visit. They came to live with me when she passed.
5. What new TV show are you looking forward to seeing this fall? Nothing new, just miss ER. Thats my favorite.

Probably that I don't do makeup very well! No matter how many good tips DD gives me can't seem to do them myself. Along with being hormonally challenged I think I'm makeup challenged as well!
2. Who would you most like to see have a makeover in a magazine (other than yourself)?
Can't think of anyone at the moment
3. Fess up, what do your feet look like at the end of the summer?
I have to say my feet look pretty good as I make pedicures a regular part of treats to myself especially during the summer! Thanks for the reminder think I'll get one on Sunday!

There are so many, the little pitcher vase that my mom used when she picked pansies from the yard. My grandmother's tea cups. She used to collect them and gave me several of them. The little scrap of my son's "woobie" as he used to call his special blanket. Oh so many! Just to many to list!
5. What new TV show are you looking forward to seeing this fall?
I watch so little TV these days I'm not even sure whats on TV this fall!

My biggest makeup pet peeve? Heavy eyeliner that makes women look like racoons, and lip liner that stands out from the lipstick as a result of women not blending the two.
Makeover in a magazine - probably the overly made-up identical twin ladies who hit garage sales. Straight out of the 80s with big hair walls and night club make up. Nice ladies, though they pick up the strangest odds & ends to go with their looks. They even dress in identical outfits - not sure if it's a gimmick or what.
My feet at the end of the summer? Just dry on the back bottom of the heels and side by my big toe. Nothing a little Vaseline treatment won't cure in a night or two.
Cherished possession that immidately brings up special memories. Various stuffed animals, many given to me by The Cus. Blimpie Bear is special - we saw him as a mascot at a Blimpie sub shop in Newnan, GA and thought he was both cute and annoying... and we had to order one! He stays on our headboard, and we often make wry comments in "Blimpie's voice." Hmmm... maybe I've said too much!! Other possession, believe it or not, is my car, The Sprout. 168,000 miles on it, and it has taken us to *many* fun places!
New TV show - I haven't seen a one that I'm interested in. They all look hokey to me: the "comedies" yell at you, the dramas are wrought with explosions as if that's exciting, and the characters are so far removed from real people it's silly. I'd like to get back into "Enterprise", but we missed half the series including the cliff-hanger from last season.

***Blue eye shadow and heavy eyeliner
2. Who would you most like to see have a makeover in a magazine (other than yourself)?
***Can't think of anyone
3. Fess up, what do your feet look like at the end of the summer?
***Not bad. I keep my feet pretty slathered up with lotion
4. This may require some thought, do you have a cherished possession that immidately brings up special memories when you see it(them)? Not obvious things like wedding rings or photos.
***Little gifts from my son. Smells bring back memories more than anything for me. Dove soap and Jergens lotion remind me of my grandmother.
5. What new TV show are you looking forward to seeing this fall?
***I guess I really haven't paid much attention to what's coming up.
Thinking of answers to these questions are my biggest challenge each Friday!

Lipstick that dries my lips into sandpaper. Or that melts off within minutes of applying it.
2. Who would you most like to see have a makeover in a magazine (other than yourself)?
Hmmmm......my sister, but just for a hair makeover.
3. Fess up, what do your feet look like at the end of the summer?
Better this summer than in past ones - See post under Friday Workout.

I have an old 78-rpm record of "I'm Always Chasing Rainbows" that my father made when he was very young, probably just around 1950. Can barely hear a sound, but he had a gorgeous voice. You'll have to pry that one out of my cold dead hands.
5. What new TV show are you looking forward to seeing this fall?
New: Happy Family - Love John Larroquette and Christine Baranski. Old standby - Friends; lots to get resolved.

Rhonda,
We are so lucky to have you! You always get us thinking!
put on your thinking caps:
1. What is your biggest makeup pet peeve?
Actually I have two...I cannot get a foundation color to match my fair skintone. I think I may have to resort to having a custom color done. No matter what type of eye liner pencil I use I manage to smudge it.
2. Who would you most like to see have a makeover in a magazine (other than yourself)?
My Mom. She is 67 and has wonderful skin for her age. I'd love to see her get this done. She would need a natural look but I believe it would give her a real boost.
3. Fess up, what do your feet look like at the end of the summer?
Funny you should ask this. I wrote a list yesterday of things I want to attend to this weekend and my feet are at the top of it! I can sure tell the end of summer is near. My feet are callin' for a good soak & sloughing followed by a slathering of foot cream and some fresh soft cotton soxs.
4. This may require some thought, do you have a cherished possession that immidately brings up special memories when you see it(them)? Not obvious things like wedding rings or photos.
I have a small stuffed puppy who is quite plain with a brown plastic eye that I took to bed with me every night as a small child. I loved this little guy soooo much that his head has been re-attached several times. I don't know why but rubbing that smooth plastic eye on my lip was very soothing when I was small. I keep him in my bedroom and whenever I see that little guy I feel a warm fuzzy feeling.
5. What new TV show are you looking forward to seeing this fall?
The last couple seasons I've really enjoyed watching "Friends" With it being their final season I think it will be a great show to watch. Just recently I've been trying to turn off the tube because it's making me a vegetable in the evenings.
Can't wait to read everyone's responses.

Lipliner that is too dark. Patty...if you go to the Cracker Barrel in Harrisonburg, the hostess that is always there in the mornings wears really dark brown lipliner and light brown lip color. I just want to take her aside and say, "honey, that just doesn't go! Try these new shades of lipliner and lipcolor that work better."
2. Who would you most like to see have a makeover in a magazine (other than yourself)?
Michael Jackson. Really...he needs to have all of his cosmetic surgery reversed and get rid of the makeup. He just gives me the creeps.
3. Fess up, what do your feet look like at the end of the summer?
This summer, for the first time in my life, I had a pedicure. Loved it. Have to have them regularly now. My feet look AWESOME this summer. (DH's still need a lot of work!).
4. This may require some thought, do you have a cherished possession that immidately brings up special memories when you see it(them)? Not obvious things like wedding rings or photos.
My charm bracelet. My dad (he was active duty military) travelled a lot to really cool places and always brought us back charms for our bracelets. Mom would also buy us charms that would mean something special...valentine's day, a piano (because I played), etc. I recently laid them all out and really looked at them. One I couldn't place where it was from and I took it to my dad. He couldn't remember either, but he was pretty sure it was from a communist block country.
5. What new TV show are you looking forward to seeing this fall?
TV? What is that? We just don't watch tv anymore. I don't even know what's on now, let alone what is going to be new. However, I do have to say that we (the family unit) have gotten hooked on Malcolm in the Middle. It is SOOOOOO our family. Watching Jane Kaczmarek on that show is like looking in a mirror! And of course I have to see what happens with the Joey/Rachel kiss. I think I caught the last two episodes of the entire season of Friends.
