Good morning-

It would be so nice to sleep in until 0600 every morning. I love it. How's your weekend going so far? Mine is kind of lazy. Just watched OU beat AL last night, played some Yahtzee and that was it.

Today...will be a different story. I definitely want to get in some workout time since I decided to take yesterday off. Last day to rack up some more time before posting in the morning. Be thinking of your new goals for the week. Did you accomplish your goals from last week?

OK...have a wonderful Sunday!

Good Morning to all,

Not exactly sure what the day will bring as I think it's going to be a pretty busy day around here. Have to get a few bills paid and my checkbook in order. I have some things around here I would have like to finish up. Treating myself to a manicure and pedicure this morning and DH and I will take a ride to the hospital sometime early afternoon to see his dad. DH spent most of the day up there yesterday with his mom and his sister.

It is another beautiful day here and I hope to get a walk in sometime later this afternoon and hopefully some quiet time in my favorite chair.

Phyllis, I love Yahtzee-I haven't played that in the longest time.

Hope you all enjoy your Sunday!

Good Morning Everyone!

I was also thinking it was soo nice not to have an alarm going off this morning. I got up with the cat at 5:30 and went back and snuggled DH until 7:15! This is the first morning that we woke up feeling a bit chilled. Guess it will be time to get under the sheet or turn of the AC at night time. After months of intensive heat it's nice to feel that fall is on the way.

I didn't have a good week meeting my goals. I only exercised a few days. I don't know what is up but I am feeling quite fatigued most of the time. I come home and just drop. I've decided to make sure I go to bed early enough to make sure I'm getting a full night of sleep to see if it improves. Honestly I think that I've just been out of kilter the past month.

Next weeks goal. Get enough sleep to wake up and ride my bike 10 miles before leaving for work in the morning. I'm almost positive this will make me feel better.

Yesterday morning I took Tara and Nick to the airport because they were traveling to Michigan to spend some time with Nick's family. I got back about 7 am and it was a beautiful morning outside so I hauled out my garden stuff and worked in the yard for about 3 1/2 hours. Today my knees, back, shoulders, and arms are sore. I stopped because the sun was getting too intense but I'm going to head back out there to work a little more this morning. Hopefully DH will join me in the work but football starts today so he may be a no show.

Kids are coming over for dinner with the baby so I should get the lead out or I'll be standing here grubby from yardwork, no laundry done and dinner not fixed!

I am welcoming fall with open arms!!!!!.................Margie :)

We slept until 8:30 today - very late for us - got up just before 9:00. I went to bed a bit late last night (late for me at 11:30), and The Cus woke up for two hours last night. Here it is after 10am, and we're supposed to be at church by 10:30 so I can be in the choir room... it's not going to happen. Yesterday was so incredibly busy for me with working a shift at the consignment sale, a birthday party, stopping by Sears' tool dept so DH could get something, then back home to work out. I think today's going to be a totally laid back one.

I'll work out at some point, probably LB, a bit of UB (maybe the entire Body Sculpt tape), abs and leg lifts). The only goal I didn't accomplish from last week was cutting out sweets for snacks. I only skipped my devotional yesterday, considering I got up at 6:30am and headed out the door by 7:15. Will do an extended devotional today since we're not going to church.

Good, gorgeous morning, everyone!

No fitness routine planned for today - except jumping up and down from the chair during the Patriots-Bills game, which will work my quads, hammies, abs, and lower back! I might take a walk after the game, but I'm just as likely not to.

Did I meet my goals for last week? After the lousy week before, anything I did was an improvement. My total hours working out is around 4; this week I should make a much better showing.

DH and I are going out for a light supper tonight - I'm trying to convince him to try the new Thai/Asian place that opened up about a month ago, he's looking at an old standby. The coupon for the Thai place might swing the vote.

Have a wonderful day, everyone! GO PATS!

Lazy, overcast day here. No plans so far. May go to a matinee if we get up the energy.

Have a good day everybody.

Well, I think I did great on the hours worked out for someone who had AF beating me up and I'm still trying to get over this cold - it's a doozy! It has settled in my chest & I'm very fortunate not to get the asthma. Anyway, I've put in 9 hrs. and 15 min. for the week. Wed. & Thurs. were a wash as I was really in alot of pain, but I made up for it the rest of this week. I found a great new trail in Longview - a 6 mile one! It is gorgeous!

Now I'm having to re-assess my fitness schedule. I love Pilates, but have very little space in my home for the matwork, so have to do it in livingroom. DS will just have to make other plans sometimes. Anyway, I also firmly believe in cardio at least 5 days of week. And then there's always weights and abs - where do I squeeze these in during the week? I have come to the conclusion that I am going to have to cut down on the cardio time in the a.m. on the weekdays so I can fit the weights and Pilates in. Very hard for me to do, but I may also be able to powerwalk a 2 miler at lunch somedays. Such is life . . .

Booty, I hope you get better soon, you poor dear! Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers as well as Susan (BNL) and family. Tweety, I'm so sorry your hurt your hands - yikes! I hope they heal soon.

Have a great week, all!

Happy Sunday everyone, had a party last night. Had some diet soda and ate just a little. I was proud of myself. Hubby had a few extra beers for me....lol, so I drove home. Felt great to sleep with our windows open. I love summer but these last few days and into next week should be mid 70's during the day and mid 60's at night. Slept until 8 and then dh and I had our morning coffee/tea out on the back patio. Just took a shower and heading to the grocery store for a few odds and ends. Need to make homemade macaroni salad tp go with our 17 lobsters. Yummy! FIL's treat to end the summer. But today in no walk or treadmill. Relaxing day.

Howdy Ladies.

Had a busy morning. Had planned on heading out the door around 7:00 this morning for my workout with DH. He knew this. He checked the clock. He didn't tell me what time it was. We got up at 7:30. Too late to get a workout in. It was a toss up...complain about that or be thankful that we had a quiet enough morning to lie in bed and snuggle for an hour.

So, I didn't make my goal this week. Missed it by a day. Darn close though.

No workout today. It's beautiful here in Northern Virginia. Left at 8:50 this morning. Got home at 2:30. Tons to do...guess I'll wander around and start doing some of it!

Monday is a new week. If you didn't make your goals from last week, re-look them. Maybe you need to make some adjustments. Maybe you need to push yourself hard. Maybe you need to give yourself some slack. My goals are right on. Tomorrow will be 45-60 minutes cardio, back, biceps and triceps. I have lunch with a friend...a working and birthday celebration lunch. Tons to do this week. DH and I are outta here to celebrate 20 years of wedded bliss beginning Wednesday evening and we'll return Friday evening. Can't be away on weekends due to all of the sports commitments, you know!

Later, ladies.

Sass :)

Rainy, soggy Sunday in Seoul. It kind of sapped my ambition, but in spite of that I had a pretty good one, actually. I headed for the gym around noon for my regular aerobics class, and the instructor decided to give us a serious workout. Instead of our one-hour session, we did an hour and a half, with plenty of step and lots of ub weights and abs and the whole works! It was great!

Watched sappy movies in the afternoon, and made comfort food for supper. What more can you ask for?
