Good morning Divas-

We're starting a whole new week. New chances, opportunities, clean slate.

Below under goals heading, I've posted for our weekly goals.

Below under challenges heading, I posted a place "callin" for hours.

Today is my early morning. Gotta be out the door by 0530. Tomorrow DH leaves to go to school for 2 1/2 months :-( I have a list of projects and things to do so that I can keep myself busy and not complain about him being gone. Now, if I will actually do them.

OK...what's shakin' today?

** I'm working out with my neighbor this morning at 11:00. I have a break in between so I think I'll do something additional. Weights (full body) and cardio are on schedule.

15 minute project?

** For me it will probably be helping DH with last minute stuff he needs to do before leaving in the morning.

Have a super day everyone....live with passion!

Phyllis, you sure seem to cope with DH being gone for extended periods of time well. Is that all a part of being a military wife?

I'm still pumped this week. I plan on cardio today, and will do some moving of furniture today in the house. Plan to move the bedroom furniture around. It's big heavy stuff so I'll have to drag the mattress and box springs off the bed before it will move, take the drawers out of the dressers before they move, etc. Then it will still be a big huge task that might not get done the way I want it. Wish me luck!

My 15 minute project? Don't know yet. Most of my projects are big ones today.

It never dawned on me that driver's license places would be closed on Monday. As packed as they stay, they need all 5 workdays to handle the crowds. So, I wasted time putting on makeup, etc., and driving the 10 miles each way to the closest renewal place only to find they weren't open. Rather than rush for something chocolate, which was my first impulse, I bought a sapphire blue sleeveless sweater and got a Subway salad for brunch. I think I deserve some kind of "points" for that, because I was pretty ticked off.

I may have a chance to volunteer during a fund raiser and visit to an elementary school by President Bush when he's in town tomorrow! That's why I wanted the blue sweater, to go with a red suit and look very patriotic. I have a gold "W" pin with a rhinestone period after it I can wear. Still waiting to hear if it's a go or not.

Tim fixed the floor scrubber for me, so my several hours project is to scrub as many of the floors in the house as possible today. Haven't decided on anything beyond that.

Have a fun day!

Its just a part of being a military wife. I think that anyone that is making a decision to marry into the military needs to be real about what all might be involved. I get so upset with wives when they leave their husband's during a deployment or if they have to spend a lot of time in the field. Like their spouse's want to go to war or to the field and go without showers, be without their families and sleep with a bunch of guys in a tent?! Get real!

It's just something you either have to deal with or don't get involved in the first place. I do miss him when he's gone but, I've learned to keep myself busy and keep my mind off being lonely or feeling bad. It never helps to have pity parties or to sulk.

And that's all I have to say about that.

I am definitely going to see President Bush tomorrow! We have to meet at a theater across town where we will be shuttled to the event. I will be volunteering at the elementary school part of the visit. I'm pretty excited.

Got the proof of our Rep. Women's Club newsletter from my friend this afternoon, and he did a fabulous job with the bits and pieces I'd sent him! I said to him, now how am I supposed to follow this when I have to do it myself?? ;-) Once I get the go-ahead from the club pres., I can pick up the disc from him and rush it to the printer. Ordinarily, it would have already been mailed out to members, but we had so little time that I am literally handing it out at the meeting the 11th.

Still having overcast weather here, so I feel unplugged, energy-wise. And, the floor scrubber still isn't picking up water. Guess I just wasn't meant to scrub floors today. Aw, shucks!

Marvelous, Magnificent Monday!

Did 35 min on the mfh, and an hour of yoga. The time went so fast, when our instructor said just one more asana and then a few minutes of meditation, I glanced at the clock and gasped omg where did the time go. I was so caught up in the class.
