It's really a tie between couch/TV and shopping. I'm not a habitual shopper and spending money is not therapeutic, but to really "get away" these days, I enjoy my time out and about. When I try to relax at home, I often have a 4-yo climbing on me asking me questions, making requests, etc... so that only works after she's gone to bed. I'm more apt to unwind with the TV than shopping, though.

I'm not asking for myself, mind you, but where is the passionate sex option?

You're such a saucy little tart! :-) I think maybe under exercise.

Can't believe I actually have made so much progress that I chose exercise as my favorite escape, but it's becoming truer every day. I feel so much better after having my butt kicked at work to go home and kick butt with a great workout.

I think all you wonderful ladies have helped bring that change about in my thinking. Knowing you're here and working to the best of your abilities makes me feel like I need to be accountable, but it also gives me great comfort when I choose slugdom and caloric indulgence over activity and Spartan eating to know that none of you are going to judge me badly.

Thanks for your support, encouragement, and friendship.

The beach is my first choice, but I went with my 2nd, shopping.

Whew! was I ever relieved when "eating" was not one of the choices! If I'm stressed and unfocused sometimes I nibble when stressed. I've been working on changing that pattern. Wish I could have said exercise was how I releived my stress but for now I'll have to settle for a long soak in the tub.

I knew most of your would write exercise. I have to be honest, so I wrote the manicure. Maybe someday I can say exercise.

Well, that's a question someone else on this board may have the answer to, Princess, but I won't say who that may be . . . I never like to point fingers.

I was the couch potato TV watcher. If I'm way over stressed and tired, I love to wrap in a blanket and watch TV...snoozing on and off. That's kind of a winter day thing for me too.
