gray right out of my hair. The message from the Dr's office Friday afternoon was not for me but rather for DH. He had gone in for a physical a few weeks ago and apparently his blood work for his PSA level is elevated. He has been seeing a urologist for the past few years after having abnormal levels before. They had gone down quite a bit and had been stabalized and he even had a good count just a few months ago. Now they are elevated again and he will be seeing the regular doctor tomorrow to get his opinion and meanwhile he's supposed to call the urologist and let them know that they are again elevated. But of course as far as DH is concerned this number isn't nearly as high as last time and everything was fine then and he feels that the fact of the matter is that they don't have a clue as to why these numbers jump around as everything checked out fine the last time they were elevated. So I guess I'll either adapt myself to his attitude or grow a few more gray hairs.

I'd love to learn to relax about medical test results and implications, but it's just not in my nature. I hope your DH follows up quickly and gets a definite "no problem" from the dr instead of letting things drag and being cavalier about it.

Hey, Susan - If you're going to be washin' the gray away, pick a cool color!

Take care, and hugs,

Oh, Susan..you worried all weekend about that dr's office message and it wasn't even for you. You would think whoever left the message would have said who it was for. Sheesh!!

Don't worry about the gray...I just colored mine again after my haircut. I don't think I could have anymore gray hairs even if I tried. Glad I didn't color the whole room with trying to balance on one foot.

You take care and try to relax. DH doesn't seem to be worried at all. I am sure you are just fine, too.

As if the stress level wasn't high enough for you already!!!!Your DH sounds like a typical male which maybe isn't such a bad thing. He'll probably be right and will tell you,"told you so!!!".

Hope dh gets some answers . . . yes, you do not need to worry about this, so hopefully the doctors will be thorough with dh and find out why the fluctuations.
