Good morning Ladies-

Hope you had a great night sleep and are ready to get moving this morning. Only 2 more days to add time to our weekly challenge time. That being the case...think I'll put in a movie that I can watch and get on the treadmill and throw in some weights.

Any exciting plans for the weekend? I'm in an organizing mood so that's what I will do today. OK...so post your kewl stuff that you're going to do this weekend so I can live through you :-) Oh man...just remembered I need to do bills today.

Have a great day!

In spite of a stuffed up head (head cold), I'm heading to the beach. Waves are good. Rob went yesterday with a friend during teacher's planning day and while I was downstate. Went to bed about 6 and didn't get up until around 8 this morning. Kept waking up, but couldn't seem to move. I'm hoping the salt air will help my head, and if I'm up to it, I'll get a walk in.

Have a good day everybody!

Rhonda

Good Morning,

A very gray and gloomy morning here with the promise of lots of rain. Down to the basement I went for 7 miles on the exercise bike. Thinking of some abs and weights at some point in the day.

Can't really post on any kewl stuff for the weekend Phyllis unless you count how high I can stack the laundry without it falling over or maybe how high a dog hair/dust bunny pile can get? No, doesn't sound very exciting to me either!

Have a great day everyone!

Easier said than done we're all in the house because of rain.Dh is watching some stupid man movie and ds is playing his guitar at unbelieveable noise levels.Apparently today is a test!!If it clears off I'm heading to the track , if not the treadmill.

Princess..trying hard to forget where she hid the chocolate

Not too much excitement here either. As Susan said its kind of gloomy here, expecting rain today and tomorrow. I have nothing pressing today. I plan on going onto the treadmill in a few minutes and see how long I can last. Hoping for the 45 to 50 minutes. Gets boring, just walking and listening to the radio. Wish we had a TV out on the patio. Anyhow, if the weather holds I might head up to Main Street and over to the park. We were supposed to have a craft fair. Tomorrow is racing.........oh boy! Its the last race to our season of points. My Robbie will not race because 2 weeks ago he blew his motor. Its still not back and he will sit this one out. Katie is still #1 in points in her class. We think if she just shows up tomorrow and goes down the track one time, win or lose she has the championship. Not bad for her first season. My folks, Bill's folk, both boys, and Katie's best friend are coming to cheer her on.

Rhonda I hope you are feeling better. What do you do at the beach when you go? I ment to ask you that several times. Do you relax or surf too? Susan how is your FIL? How is hubby holding up? I forgot to ask about your son. What school is he going to? Phyllis can you come and organize for me. Are you keeping busy? Have your heard from John?

Hope you feel better. Go for a good run (indoors or out). Pump some weights (don't pound some heads).

Eat a piece of chocolate. It might help!

Hugs.

Morning Phyllis--Morning Ladies:

I was feeling a bit overwhelmed with all going on so I was up before 5am today--running off reports, etc for one of the community volunteer things I'm in. Sometimes I prefer to fly by the seat of my pants with the charity stuff, but I had a thought---I need to be more serious and treat this like a job.

The private party we're having at the "mansion" at the end of this month to pre-raise funds early for one of the organizations? SOMEHOW it hit the big newspaper in town with my name and phone, email..as the place to RSVP if you want to attend. Our goal was to just have past underwriters/supporters come, gather, socialize, and we have some items to sell and private invites went out. It's in my friend's gorgeous home. SO>>>yesterday I start getting all of these phone calls RSVPing to the party--from people not invited. Finally I ask--ummm how did you hear? FROM THE PAPER. OH well....talked to the reporter..it won't appear again.

Today I'm off to Jazzercise, I haven't posted since coming back much since I am deeply buried in to do's...but I have been keeping up my fitness schedule! Six hours of fitness since Wednes am.

Going to Trader Joe's today to buy the wine for the fundraiser...and then we're off to a card making store. I'm planning my dad's 80th surprise party from up here in WA..it being down there in CA. Found a great military pic of him that I had run on glossy hard stock cards for the invite, now I just need to do the inside, the invitation wording, and adhere it somehow NICELY to the invite. Any gurus here that are great with card making????

The ladies want "French Lemonade" too for the party--so I hear Cost Plus has it for the cheap. Hope to make a run over there too.

Our vacation is officially over tomorrow :o). I'll be cooking again ha ha!!

Good Morning Girls!

I'm feeling a bit sluggish this morning because I didn't get to bed until almost 1:30 am. The kids were supposed to get back to Dallas/Fort Worth at 7 pm and their flight didn't land until midnight because of weather problems in Chicago. While sitting at the airport I began to feel the ill affects of high ragweed counts and got a headache, stuffed up head and stomach ache. I felt so yucky I didn't even wash my makeup off last night when I went to bed. The alarm went off two hours later for DH to get up for work. I always get up and fix him breakfast and mother him out the door so I dragged myself out of bed. After he left I headed back to bed and because it's getting cooler now I decided to get under the top sheet for the first time in months and YIKES! the kitty attacked my feet and would not stop. She gave me a good slash across the top of my foot. Needless to say I got on top of the sheets.

I'm up and have had breakfast, Zertec, and Advil. Humm, Now that I have taken my meds today I realize that I fogot to take all of them yesterday because I was rushing to get out the door. I guess that explains why the ragweed got me. Okay I'm thinking it would be best to exercise inside today so I'm headed downstairs to my bike and HGTV for an hour to peddling. Next I plan to take a good long soak in the tub with some of that baby vapor bath. Then I guess I will keep busy around the house.

Rhonda I loved your shopping story. Fall always gets me in the mood to shop for some new clothes. Yesterday I took an early lunch break and used a comp hour to run to the mall to check out a Red Apple Sale at Foleys. I was tickled pink when I got four new tops at half price and was able to use an additonal early bird coupon for an additonal 15% discount. I had ordered some new casual shoes from easy spirit and they came. I tried to order navy but they were out of my size so I'm going to have to keep trying to find some navy ones elsewhere.

Peddling on out of here...

Margie :)

Phyllis ..

Organizing sounds good to me. I will do that today.

I can't wait to try out my heavier weights with a Cathe Tape. My teenagers are arguing, the spouse is still in bed (even tho he folded the clothes .. the mound dissappeared!), and life is normal (Happy sigh)

(Hey! I looked at your profile, Phyllis! "Grandchildren"???? Get out of here!!)
