Kind of new here, so here is Two questions, 1) how do u guys handle emotional eating? Question 2) If you work full time how do you find the energy to work out?
Some days I can do it, and others I just can't seem to pull the engery to work out after work (work from 8:30am-5:30pm, home by 6:20)
(I really dont like the idea of workout's in the early morning, It would take me too long to get ready for work,I work for a law firm so I must be "Properly groomed" so to just put my hair in a pony tail isn't a good thing.)

Emotional eating - I don't think I'm an emotional eater. I think I eat the way people decide to climb Mt. Everest - because the food is there. I try to keep certain things out of the house and off my plate and it certainly helps me. But I don't really notice running to the fridge or the cabinets looking for "comfort" when things get to me.
Working out while working full time (I'm 8-5, with about the same time arriving home) - It's not really a matter of finding the energy. It's more a matter of making it part of your daily routine. Think of it as working overtime, but for yourself - if your bosses needed you to stay for a couple of hours after 5:30, you'd probably do it. Why not work(out) for yourself? The payback is as good as time-and-a-half in your check. My DH and I don't have kids, so I can be really flexible about dinner hour and taking the time that I need; I don't know what your situation is.
Like you, I hate a.m. workouts - I've tried, I'm willing to try again, but I'm just not morning-focused. I've started South Beach, and even though I can prepare the recommended breakfasts ahead, they still involve more than dumping cereal in a bowl for my morning meal.
Good luck with your fitness plan, whatever it turns out to be. Just make time for it - it's important for your future health.
