I went to Boarders Books and read some of the Southbeach Diet book and then I read some of the Curves book. I decided to try the Curves one since I did semi start it a few weeks ago and I did loose those 3 pounds. I have read some of it and have decided to start today, again. ( I know!)But the key thing is I have started. Lets just hope I can stick with Phase 1 for the two weeks. My mother in law bought me a gift yesterday. While at the sporting goods store she saw those pedometers, and she knew I have been talking about getting one. She gave it to me yesterday afternoon, and from 3 to bed I logged 2.87 miles. That is just going around my house doing normal things. I reset it this morning and plan on wearing it all day. Well thanks all for your pat on the back. Sorry to keep being a pain in the a**. I hate this fustrated feeling, and it gets me down. Having this place with you ladies who understand my feelings of fustration help.

Better to do something than keep getting frustrated! Good luck with Curves eating plan and enjoy your pedometer - it reveals so much about just how much movement we do that we don't count.

You're not a pain anywhere. It's frustrating to exercise and eat right and not see the results you want. But I really believe you will.A woman who can raise 3 kids , work with her DH and go to school can do anything she sets her mind to!!
