4pm seems to be my new top of the morning time so I'm posting now. HOW is everyone doing with the big storms???? ALL OK????

Donna--how is the weather in Boston? My folks are there, staying at the Radisson. I wanted to have breakfast sent to their room or something fun--but I kept forgetting :(.

I've been working out, but this week I have five events/things going on that frankly, disrupted my schedule....got six Jazzercise classes in this week and work at home, so I'm feeling ok.

Been cleaning the house today for company with Shakira cranked up loud....DOING THE TANGO and dusting ha ha.

Oh----re craves..check this out: http://e-immerse.com/crave/

It's a CRAVE PARTY!

That sounds like what we should do when we get together. As soon as I saw it I emailed my auction posse and someone was already on top of it. She asked for an entire crave party be donated ha ha...they said they'd give us two tickets and hopefully some services too. Sounds fun, huh?????

Tonight I'm cleaning like mad, company coming tomorrow night. Tomorrow night my date for the gala, fundraiser for the Broadway Center for the Performing Arts, is Tammi. Her hubby didn't want to get in a tux, we have company (Eric's) coming for the night, but I'm up for some fun. So Tammi and I are going to pretend it's PROM...get all girlied out, put on our gowns and be each other's date :o) and take our pictures together. Too bad she's 20 years younger, 4 inches taller, and uh tons lighter on the scale LOL.

Before that though...it's the American Heart Association's Heart Walk. I just spoke with my friend, she says they have the streets of Tacoma downtown closing soon, and the set up takes 5 hours! I had no idea, could've offered to help. It's a big deal and a lot of fun.

Walking with my Jazzercise friends but so many I know are doing this. It will be a lot of friends doing something for a very good cause. Yesterday I went to the funeral of a very nice neighbor who died last Friday of a heart attack in her home. BIG surprise to everyone, very sad for her wonderful hubby, married 34 years. SO...I'll walk with my neighbor in my mind tomorrow, and my dad, and the Twin's dad, and my mother, and Eric's mother...just so many.

Take Care,

Deb

Hi, Deb - Welcome back to the board after one of your busier weeks. Boston's weather, Saturday morning, is really nice - a little humid for my liking, but clear and breezy. If you're in the right section of town - that is, near water - it'll be a perfect day. In the "built" areas, it'll feel close with all the buildings so close and surrounding you, but the fact that there will be lots of people out and about makes it fun. It's great to be around, especially with all the colleges back in full swing.

The Radisson's about 2 blocks from my office. If your parents want to splurge on a great steakhouse dinner, tell them to try Fleming's; for an Italian dinner, more modern style, try Davio's, or traditional delicious big portions, try Maggiano's. All are within a short walk of the hotel. Fleming's and Davio's - $$$$, Maggiano's - $$-$$$.

Have fun at the "Prom"!

Crave party sounds fun, I have the $$ to get in but looks like you have to buy two more services on top of that. I think I'll bid on it at auction :o).

They said the last one sold out fast--imagine, afternoon in your pj's eating, sipping, and getting manicures and pedicures.
