I'm describing you this morning right! Think about it before you answer..it could set up your whole day. Happiness is a decision. Life is all about choices!

I have a whole lot of making up to do for workouts today. I won't come even close to what I should have done in workout hours. Come on Deb...let's get your hours tomorrow for the last 3 weeks of working out! That will put us way up there.

After my workout today, I'll get organized for the week, clean house..that kind of stuff.

What's going on with you today?

Today we have the last cookout for the season at Mom and Dads. Can't wait!We have an extra relative who is very loud, an extra guest and my older sister will stir some things up with some news she has. Nothing major but it's about a trip she is taking.Mom will not approve and her MIL will also be there.I asked her to let me tell it but she seemed to think I would stir something up!!!Can you imagine??Thankfully I'm going without a headache. I can just relax, eat and watch the show.

Workout today will be something, I'm determined. At least a run and maybe some weights.Time to get it back in gear.Flo, who still isn't showing up like she should, has thrown me off. I need to find a way to not let her mess me up for a week or more.Any suggestions??

My disposition is sunny, hopefully the weather will be too.Hope you all have a great day!

Oh, yesss, I'm sunny this a.m.! Just finished watching "New Morning" on Hallmark Channel and the theme was "Journey". I love the fact that we are spiritual beings on a human journey. That helps when the ridiculous pops up in everyday life!

My carpets look wonderful & I'm so glad my new carpet cleaner works well! I will be cleaning carpets more often, now.

Well, I'm off on my journey to Dallas in a little bit. Have a wonderful Sunday everyone.

I love cleaning my carpets. I bought a carpet cleaner at Walmart for about $80 last year. Best money I've spent.

Have a great day in Dallas.

Mornin'All

It's sunny outside and I'm feeling sunny too this AM. Up and at it bright and early this morning. Some around the house chores this morning. Manicure and pedicure a little later, some bills to pay and a cake to bake for my younger DD's 22nd birthday! Even though she's away for the weekend she let me know she'll be leaving MA early so she'll have time for cake this evening! Not sure what's on the workout agenda as of yet.

Hope everyone has a Super Sunny Sunday!

I'm glad you've gotten through the headache. O magazine had some stuff on headaches this month. I always like to read that kind of stuff. Especially since I have a good friend that goes through that on a regular basis (hugs). The whole magazine is pretty good this month. I should just take the subscription. I think I pay more money by buying an ocassional edition.

Hope the get to gether goes well.

Good morning all! You are so right, Phyllis. The way we look at life and the attitude that we take each day can affect the way our day will be. A sunny disposition can go a long ways towards making each day much more enjoyable.

It is cloudy, cool and rather dreary here today. Maybe it will bring us some rain...they aren't calling for any, though. Yesterday was a gorgeous day. The weather was perfect for the wedding that we attended. Great for pictures, the reception, everything! And, of course, DD was a beautiful bridesmaid.

Today we'll go to church, then come home and DD and SIL will be coming to have lunch with us before they head back home. After they leave, I should exercise. I've been a slug this week with exercise. I've done it four days but just the minimum to get by. And I've eaten like I'm one of Patty's chickens getting ready to be butchered. I should pretty much be there soon if I keep eating like this another few days.

It is time to start fresh! It's time to quit being a little piggie and to be smart in my food choices. It's time to exercise more than 30 minutes a day. It's time to take control! (How many times have you heard me say that? Aren't you getting tired of reading this? Are you all thinking that I'm a slug yet?)

Now, with Phyllis's sunny disposition Sunday upon me, I have put on a big smile, will hop into the shower, get ready for church and enjoy my day!!

I'm feeling sunny (but rushed), and the weather is sunny. Yesterday, Rob, his friend, and I went to a friend's beach house just north of St. Augustine. It is right on the ocean and has 5 bedrooms, a loft that could be used for sleeping, 2 baths, and a huge kitchen/great room/eating area with ocean views!! I'd be living there all the time, but she has an even bigger house on the river here in town that they like. Actually, they share this house with her husband's brother and sister, so they get it every third week. It's a rough life. There is a deck all around the 2nd story and a balcony on the 3rd story. She had invited several other people and their kids and brought stuff for lunch for us. Rob and friend surfed all day, while we mostly sat on the deck and talked. It was almost 7 before we left. It was a really lovely day. By the time we took his friend home and grabbbed some dinner, it was after 8 before we got home. I did manage to give the dog a bath last night.

Oh, this friend has a darling little male Yorkie named Winston that she's decided they don't want. They aren't home that much, and he hasn't been housebroken. Yorkie's are very difficult to housebreak as I know from my own, Katie. Anyway, I told her I want him. I know I must be nuts, but I hope to pick him up before Tim gets home. Hope he won't throw me out with the dog, but he is an animal lover too, so I'm hoping he'll take one look and fall in love with him. Plus, Katie is surrounded by cats and needs a doggie companion. He's about half her size. I haven't told Rob yet, because I don't want him bugging me, but he will be thrilled.

The house is a wreck. I've got laundry going and am on my 3rd load of dryer drycleaning. Time to crank up the new floorscrubber, among other things. So, my day will be mainly cleaning and possibly picking up the newest member of the family!!

Have a good day everybody!

Oh well . . . too much rain today, therefore I cancelled my Dallas trip. Some other day . . . I hate driving in the rain in little ole' Longview, so there's no way I'm driving on I-20 (which is under construction) in it. There was no rain in our forecast the last time I checked, but Texas weather changes constantly. Anyway, called my best friend;& she completely understood as she suffers from panic disorders and doesn't like to drive outside of her safe zone in Dallas (if you can call anywhere in Dallas "safe" for driving!).

I went to SS & boy am I glad I did! We had a great lesson about stress alleviation (not stress management, but alleviation). I always learn something new when I go to SS and our teacher pointed out that God received greater glory when Lazarus was raised from the dead rather than if Jesus had rushed over to heal him from his illness. That can be applied to my wanting God to intervene in my life, relationships, work, etc. to the point that I will know that it is divine power that has made the difference. So what I have learned is that I need to keep praying and turn the stress over to God, just not to expect instant answers. I love Sunday School!

Well, I guess I will go catch a matinee & cook some today. I rarely get to cook things from scratch, so I have plans to make sour cream enchiladas (light sour cream & cheeses of course!) and must make some fruit salad, a nice green salad & desserts for my ds. He likes brownies, apple crisp & ice cream.

Have a blessed Sunday all!

I read the article on the woman who suffers with migraines. My heart went out to her because her struggle is much worse than mine.I just sent off for a subscription to that magazine because I was buying it so often.I watched Oprah one day when she was talking about her "what I know for sure" column. She said some days she doesn't know a darn thing!I loved that and boy can I relate. Thanks for the hugs!!

Hi, all ---

It was errands early and football all day (Patriots beat the Jets, but suffered several injuries, one of which could be quite costly. Bills-Dolphins will keep me company during my workout tonight). I started prepping dinner just as DH decided it was a good time to mow the lawn, so dinner is on hold for the moment and I'm visiting you all.

Cardio and LB workout after the Sopranos tonight.

Hope you all had a lovely day and have a wonderful evening!
