Great comparisons on those eating plans, and most in the same format so that we can better compare. Reading these was amusing in parts, seeing what one diet promoted which was the same thing as another diet lambasted. I tell ya, with each new thing I learn, there's more to count (sodium, protein, carbs, sugars, fiber, glycemic load, saturated fats, unsaturated fats, trans-fats, omega III fats, etc. etc.), and what's being counted, according to who you listen to, can even contradict each other.

I did a "Huh?" when I read the lack of emphasis on exercise in some of these. No way should exercise be sidelined in a healthy lifestyle. It's still all about watching what you ingest and how your body uses it, because unused calories (whether it's carbs, fats, sugars or excess protein from that all-you-can-eat steak house) get stored as fat.

I'm waiting for the "all you can eat Mexican food diet" to come out. I'll be jumpin' on that one quick, fast and in a hurry!

Yes, thanks Phyllis. It's nice to see an easy comparison of these popular plans.

When you hear about that Mexican food diet, let me know!
