Good morning Divas-

We're starting our last week for getting more hours in not just for the challenge, but for the opportunity to do something good for ourselves. This week will be a more manageable one for me. I hope you have a good week lined up.

Today I want to get in a long cardio and some weight training. This afternoon I get my first facial from the girl I'm doing the trade out with. She talked about microdermabrasion, parrafin...all kinds of stuff. I can't wait!

My 15+ minute project will be to finish my lesson for Bible Study tomorrow afternoon.

The unselfish effort to bring cheer to others will be the beginning of a happier life for ourselves. Helen Keller

Enjoy your day!

Have a nice facial, Phyllis! Love that quote - Helen Keller's teacher taught her well.

I have alot of work to do today and tonight, so no workout. Hopefully, things will slow down by tomorrow. Lunch hour: shopping for ds' long pants for fall. One thing: have leftover sour cream chicken enchiladas so don't have to get takeout dinner tonight!

Have a great Monday!

Good morning everyone.I surprised myself by jumping on the treadmill last night. Taking that as a positive sign I will be back on track this week.Today will be cardio and maybe a quick workout on my total gym.

They are callin for us to get over an inch of rain today and tonight!!We're running out of places to put it!!!!

Ds has a dinner to go to tonight. The landscaping busines he is working for would like him to take on a bigger role. They are working on getting him a scholarship so he can go to college and study landscaping design! Not sure how things will work out but just the possibilites are exciting.

Ok I got on the scale this morning and this is so unbelieveable!According to my calculations the T shirt I had on must weight 5 pounds!!!I gotta get lighter clothes!!! :)

Good Morning,

Couldn't help but get up this AM with DH's alarm going off 10 minutes before mine except that his was loud enough to rouse the dead! I got in 45 minutes of cardio this morning and looking for some stretching or yoga this evening-I'm definitely in need!

15 minute project will be to put my laundry back in my drawers and closet.

Now it's time for me to finish getting ready to begin the part of my work day that involves getting a paycheck!

Well, how 'bout getting at least 4 days of exercise in this week? My ankle feels fine again, but DH is having truck probs again (battery failing) so I know that when he comes home, I can't take off to run because I'll need to stay with Allison. So, full body sculpt with form concentration, and abs. Hopefully I won't be in pain this time!

15-min project is more than 15 mins - I'm starting Al's and my Halloween costumes (Statue of Liberty). Mine will be easy enough because I have a pattern. Hers... I didn't want to buy a second pattern ($7.50 for one use) and so will adjust mine. Not quite sure how that will work.

Sorry to hear about the rain. Guess we'll be getting some, too. Our main backed up yesterday, but only into our utility basement sink, thankfully. DH cleaned it out thoroughly, so hopefully we'll be okay.

What great news about DS! Wouldn't that be awesome if he could get in his schooling and work! I'll keep him and this situation in my prayers.

As for the 5 pound tee...you're on your own there!

Hugs.

Yum. I facial. That sounds heavenly right now. Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy.

My stress level is out the roof. Consequently, my energy level is down the toilet.

DH is out of town today and tomorrow which is a blessing.

Kids are back to school today which is a blessing.

Going to be cranking at work this week. Hope to get in a workout later today when I get home.

Loved the quote from Helen Keller. Copied it and printed it to tack on my home office board.

Later.

Patty-great news about your son! Hope things go well for him! Maybe you could send him to NY and bring aid to our very sad looking front yard!

Good morning, everyone!

Looking at a beautiful day here Monday, with rain on the way for Tuesday. Workout today will be cardio and UB/abs. Eating still on track - one more week of food restrictions to go. 15-minute project - who knows, probably sorting the mail and paying a few bills.

Patty - that's great news for your son. Hope it all works out for him.

Have a great day, everyone!

That's so great about your son's opportunity for a scholarship and to hear he's doing so well that they want to increase his responsibility. He must be doing very well, which I know makes you proud. It's so neat when our kids find something that's really right for them.

You must be holding water weight with Aunt Flo around, either that or it's muscle mass. I bet the scale will probably go down in a few days. Hope mine does! ;-)

Good morning everyone! Feelin' right perky this morning so I went out early and had a nice, easy walk. Workin' on the slow burn idea keeping my heart rate down a little. Did 3 miles in 45 minutes so I must be feeling good.

15 minutes today spent reading my library books. Ok, probably more than 15 minutes...

Have a great day!
