Dd was home this past weekend and we had a wonderful time. She saw the doctor on Friday and he gave her pamphlets on how to deal with stress and anxiety in life(He didn't feel it was acid reflux at all. Instead he thinks it to be stomach wall syndrome). We spent some great quality time together and by the time she left she was doing fabulous. Well, when she got back home she went straight to work, got stressed because they are expecting her to do the work of a fulltime employee and she doesn't work enough hours, nor can she afford to with homework, to do this kind of work. Then after work she goes home only to find out that two of her roomates (guys) had one heck of a party while she was gone. It was so huge that there was no room to walk! The house was distroyed. Carpets filty, walls marked up, posters ripped off the walls, dd's CD player stolen, etc. So she calls me in tears at 10 p.m. I just pray that she will be able to get through this last year at school. I worry so much about her. I just hope she is able to take the knowledge given to her and is able to learn to cope with this daily stress. Shes really having a hard time doing this and I just worry so much about her.

Then this family search dh, my sister and I are doing. Well, we found out some disturbing news last week but are continuing on with our findings. We spent ALL day Friday at a county courthouse, library, and cemetary. We sent out some letters and now its just the wait. I pray and pray that we hear something and that its GOOD news this time. I tell you ladies, we had SO much fun with our search on Friday. I never realized how much you can do when searching for family history. It was so interesting. We took pictures and movies and I just can't wait till we can have it all and are able to put it all together to present to dad. I just can't wait.

Your DD is going through a stressful time indeed. I have no words of wisdom to offer, I'm sorry. You're in my thoughts.

Tweety,

DD certainly has a lot to deal with. Hope she finds a good way to deal with her stress and I'll keep her in my thoughts and prayers.

It's a shame that your DD is having to go through this difficult time. Seems as though one way to lower her stress level would be to find new roommates. My daughter had that problem and finally just had to relocate during her senior year. It was a royal pain, but certainly better than staying in the situation she was in. She couldn't study or focus where she was. Anyway, I hope things improve for her soon.

Tweety - I hope your daughter can get through this last year successfully, also. Bad enough the work-school stress, but when you've got brainless idiots for roommates and have to deal with the behavior of their inconsiderate friends, that can certainly add to the tension. I would have exploded at them. They sure deserved it from their immature, irresponsible, STUPID behavior.

The search that you, your sister and husband are doing isn't always going to turn up rosey information, but it's part of the journey. I truly hope the rest of the search goes well and the results turn out to be what you wish for.

Hugggsss,

Donna
