Good morning ladies-

The spa treatment yesterday was wonderful. I chose a citrus scent for aromatherapy so I was very relaxed but as I drove home, I started feeling invigorated. I also did the paraffin treatment for hands and feet. Amazing! I've always wondered if those paraffin treatment machines work that they sell. I may have to consider that. Anyway...what a treat.

Working out yesterday felt so good that...I think I'll do it again today. UB workout with cardio in the afternoon before Bible Study. I got my lesson finished up last night. The lesson has a lot of scriptures that you read and then questions to answer. It was kind of cool to look up the scriptures on the computer (www.biblegateway.com) rather than flipping through my Bible. I could also look up different translations.

What's your workout today?

Top 3 positive things that have happened since last Tuesday?

***Asked to participate in another health fair

***Finally got a $2,100 credit card dispute settled. They credited the wrong acct. #

***Back into workouts and enjoying them

Do you have a 15 minute project?

***Organize my desk (again)

Have a positively wonderful day!

Phyllis

Another rainy morning here. The rain was beating so hard on my bedroom window last night that I didn't sleep a wink. I am exhausted this morning. Kids are back to school regular time this morning.

I'll be working at the office all day.

Not sure about a workout. Doubtful.

Sassy

Happy First Day of Autumn for all you cooler weather fans out there (It's official)!

I am dragging a bit this morning, and the darling doggy isn't looking quite so adorable this morning after trying to sleep on the sofa with him and Katie to let Tim catch up on rest from jet lag. Winston has really bonded with me and wants to be with me every minute. I realize he's going through an adjustment period, so am being very patient with him. Tim was so tired anyway that I had to get Rob to school this morning. I'm feeling pretty zombie-like. Have to take the kids for a walk. I'll post more later.

We got over 2 inches of rain last night.I swear I'm 2 raindrops away from going over the edge!!!!Yesterday I had a water line problem in one house which resulted in a small flood!!When I tried to shut the water off the pressure backed up and it was like setting off a sprinkler system!!!!I couldn't figure out why water was coming from the ceiling.LOL In the words of a very wise woman, "some days it doesn't pay to push the cat off your face".

Today I'm hoping for a quiet peaceful downright boring day.Wish I could head outside for a run but will have to settle for the treadmill. Also need to do weights today.

top 3 posistives:Mom and Dad are ok, MIL is improving, damn rain has stopped for the moment

15min project;I logged on to the Daily Motivator and they have a CD I'm thinking about getting for meditation and quiet time. Maybe I'll order that today.

Everyone has so much going on here it seems.I hope everyone has a calm day that includes something that lightens your load for at least awhile.Tweety and Susan I'm thinking about both your DD today.

Good Morning,

Had a rough night's sleep but need to focus on the positive and keeping positive even if things don't work out the way you want them to. Can't do anything about things that are out of your control, but you can stay positive and work with the cards that are dealt to you. Trying to get DD to adopt that attitude and to keep herself healthy.

Did a weight workout this morning. Unfortunately for me I think I'm suffering from one of the side effects of this new medication which is naseau. It's supposed to subside after a few days when you body adapts to the medication. I never suffered from morning sickness when I was pregnant but I sure know what it feels like now. Hope this feeling passes before heading off to work.

Hope you all have a good day,

Susan

Good morning!

My workout today - cardio only, and an unintended full-body workout. Tonight, DH and I will be helping my ILs haul books from their attic to the trunks of their cars in preparation for their move in October. They've sold the family home and are downsizing to a lovely apartment only about 2 miles from their home. They need to - the house is truly too much for them to care for anymore, has too many stairs for them to navigate comfortably, and my FIL is too elderly to be climbing ladders to touch up the paint on a 2-story house or wash windows. They've made a great home and filled it with wonderful, warm memories, but they've realized it's time to set sentimentality aside and prepare for a new life. They seem ready to make the move and are adjusting well. The new apartment is in an elevator building and is spacious, bright, and comfortable - and all on one level. We're blessed that they are generally in good health and can make this move without feeling pressured AND also of their own choice. The downside is they live in a prestigious town where "McMansions" sprout on any lot big enough to accommodate one; we fully expect that the house as we know it will be gone inside of two years, replaced with one of these behemoths.

BTW, DH's back is all better. Just in time for the book haul.

Three positives - too early to think that hard, but the main one is DH is feeling like himself.

15-minute project - oh, those again. Bills and sorting the mail....

Have a wonderful day, everyone!
