With Sadness I'm checking in...

Hi Everyone,
I just don't know how to explain this so I will just say it. My mother was found dead in her front yard Sunday afternoon at 2 pm. She was mowing her lawn and apparently had a heart attack within 3 feet of where her husband died only 7 weeks ago. I am totaly devestated. I feel as though my world had crumbled beneath my feet. My husband and I arrived in Boston yesterday morning after a night of hurried planning and packing. I am tired and drained yet I cannot seem to sleep. I CANNOT believe I have lost them both within such a short period of time and that I am here again saying good bye. This is bittersweet because my Mom had done so well and was feeling "full" of life and we were so excited about my upcoming trip to Mass. in October. I called her Saturday morning and she was scrubbing the shingles on the front of her house. She was so pleased with the results of her hard work in and around her house. We talked for over a hour and it was a wonderful visit. She told me she had hoped to mow her lawn later that afternoon. When a friend came to visit on Sunday it was evident Mom had been there for a while. This had been difficult for me to deal with but I am thankful she and I had such a wonderful visit. Please keep me and my sister in your prayers. She can hardly walk and is stricken with greif.
