Good morning!Do you guys realize it's 3 months til Christmas????This year I'm going to be on top of a good workout plan that lets me savor the holidays.A balanced plan that lets me enjoy the treats in moderation. A plan that is an important part of my day but not my whole day.As I said last night I'm aiming for BUFF!!

Ok, workout for today is a run and some weights.Will also be pushing the lawn mower.For someone else I think I'll fix something yummy for MIL or maybe bake cookies for DS.For myself , hmmmm have to see what I can get into......

I have a Republican Women's Club Board Meeting this morning. When I get back, I will probably mow and/or try to finish getting the floors scrubbed. The pupsters will have to be walked a few times today, or I will definitely hear about it (from them).

I don't have any set plans beyond that. I'm sort of taking it as it comes today.

I'm thankful:

1. that Tim's brother got to the hospital in time.

2. that we got little Winston.

3. for my family, which is the greatest treasure of all.

Howdy ladies.

Youngest DS woke up sick this morning so I am stuck at home today. Just another way that He is letting me know I need to slow down a bit. I've been to work every morning this week at 8:30 and not getting home until 5:30 or so (okay, last night I got back home after 8). Tuesday I was having chest pains. One would THINK I would get the message, but NOOOOOO. I kept pushing on. So now I HAVE to stay home today and I'm not stressed about it (except for this little tingle down my left arm....just kidding!). Actually, I am welcoming the break. I have tons of things to do around here and I can just nibble at these projects as I feel like it.

I can also get in a workout! Woo-hoo. The knee is still achy, but not hurting. I'll do a 30-40 minute slow burn on the treadmill and then pump some iron...I have to keep up with the VBP (Very Buff Princess).

Thankfuls:

1. That I am forced to take a down day today...He has been sending me this message all week and I haven't listened.

2. Will finally get a workout in. I've used my knee as an excuse. Hopefully, the rest has helped it and I'll be back on track today.

3. That I live in America, even though it is only here that one can get a $700 a month raise that only translates to $200 extra in the pocket. Going from a contract employee to salary after getting my increase really bit into the paycheck!

Good Morning to all!

Loved your post this morning and Phyllis your enthusiasm was definitely contagious!

It is a beautiful day here with definite signs of autumn! Did my weights and abs this morning and planning on a good stretch this evening.

My time for me is always a nice post dinner walk with Otto. He always sets the pace, sometimes moving right along to get us moving and the blood flowing and then a nice slow pace that gives time to unwind from the stresses of the day and let the mind settle.

Work is always helping out someone or doing something for someone!

Hope your Thursday is full of enthusiasm to look and feel your best inside and out!

Weights at the gym and Stretching using a Kathy Smith Yoga tape

What will you take time to do just for you?

Go to the bookstore (or Online) and pick out something fun or inspiring to read in the evenings.

What will you do for someone else that has nothing to do with you?

Make a small donation to The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation
