I think I've found it!

The answer to keeping us motivated. Our at least to keep ME motivated. Just go clothes shopping. It doesn't have to be for bathing suits even. I was shopping for winter clothes and I was so bleeping disgusted that I left everything in the dressing room and walked out. And this was even a "freebie" shopping spree from DH! I've been moaning about how I have nothing to wear (no...seriously! It's true this time.) Everything was either made by Omar the tent maker and I've gotten rid of it, or is still a size too small. Very little in between except for a pair of jeans and dresser full of tee shirts. So DH took DD and I to the mall and dropped us off with instructions to "buy the clothes you need". And off he went to Home Depot and a couple other places. So DD and I had a blast shopping for clothes for her and with our JC Penney's gift cards we had lefover from Christmas (can you tell I hate to shop?) all of her clothes only cost $36.00 and we got everything that she wanted. We still need to do more shopping, but probably at Kohl's. Anyway, we head to the ladies department and it was so frustrating. There are three groups of clothes...petites (which I ain't!), the 20 somethings and then the old ladies clothes. I did find a couple of really cute sweaters and some (I thought) really cool pants that I thought would look great. WRONG. Too tight in the wrong places, too loose in others. I didn't even try on the sweaters after the pants.
So, instead of going home and pigging out...I have relooked my priorities and exercising and food and ME are now at the top. The couple of months I really made myself the priority everything else fell into place. Like I told Patty on the phone yesterday, when I am stressed the first thing I do is drop my Sassy time. Not this time. So, tomorrow I begin again.
Hugs.

PS We went from the mall to Silver Diner. DH and DD got cake and brownie sundaes. I had a couple bites of each and a cup of coffee...could have been A LOT worse ;)

Also, know about the different groups of clothes. It's particularly bad for mother of the bride clothes -- maybe if you start looking now... ;-) Took me 6 months to find something that didn't look like for a bridesmaid or the great-grandmother of the bride!
At least you probably don't have to have pants hemmed, because you're tall. Even though I'm 5'6" I usually have to have my pants hemmed so they don't drag. I have better luck with different weight sweaters and can't remember the last time I wore a blouse that I tucked in.
After shopping recently I told myself I'm going to do better too. I want to be able to wear the stuff I bought. I should purge the closet of all my fat clothes, so I don't have them as a security net. I think that was one of the things Dr. Phil said to do.
Keep on trying! You're bound to find things eventually. I've really "worked" at it (I love my job)!!
