Left my house to pick up my ballet going buddies at 3pm, got home at midnight. Felt like Cinderella LOL!

We all got dressed up pretty, found our destination restaurant and made it to our 430pm reservation. Ha..I think they thought we were starting the evening off too early but the restaurant was packed with ballet goers! I had a grilled romaine salad with kalamata olives and a fabulous dressing, NY steak with stilton on top, roasted portabella mushroom and potatoes with wild mushroom.

We got there are 430..and paid the bill at 645..no time FOR DESSERT...wahhh LOL. You know the ballet, no late entries so we had to hoof it down to the Seattle Center.

The ballet was ABSOLUTELY STUNNING...BEAUTIFUL....and emotional. The dancers were out of this world, the costumes, incredible. So gorgeous. LOVED IT.

Didn't get home til midnight, slept in til 7am LOL.

Today-------------->> THREE HOURS OF FITNESS...circuit training, then low impact 2 hrs total, tonight, one hour of Jazzercise.

We're having a lunch tomorrow at Jazzercise so I need to make my cool pot luck item. It's a crustless quiche casserole with hot italian sausage, sun dried tomatoes, and mozz cheese concoction. Shallots and garlic too!

That's about it for today...NOTHING on my calendar yipppeeee can't believe it. 9-29 is freedom day for me.

How wonderful, Deb! I bet you looked like a Princess! Are there pictures of you and your friends?

Your crustless quiche sounds very delicious! If you can, post the recipe!

I love to do that. The new issue of "Us" has some great shots of the Emmy gowns. I loved Debra Messing's, and Christina Applegate's was pretty too, although I wasn't crazy about her hair and makeup.

Actually...I have this skirt I used to love love love..a Nordstrom's Classique. I wore it when I was heavy in a large, then got it in an 8-10 and now it's too big. So I spent the afternoon moving it around..you know so the seams were at the hips and not in front. GRRRRR I just wore a red rose long sleeved (kind of see through but not tacky) top. Blood red....and black. It was still warm here so I couldn't pull out anything too special. In between seasons..yikes.

The quiche I will post...but warning...IT IS NOT LOWFAT LOL..do you still want it??????

What a beautiful evening you had. Sounds wonderful. Now you've got me psyched about the Boston Ballet's season.

Have you been in touch with your parents? We heard news of Hurricane Juan reaching eastern Canada yesterday and I thought about them traveling up there. Our rain on Sunday was the backwash from the storm - not bad here, no "locally heavy downpours" as promised, just steady for a while and then scattered drizzling.

Have a peaceful and relaxing "day off" from your many duties...

Now that would be a fun thing to do when I visit Boston next, maybe meet up with you for the ballet?

Folks are doing well--they should actually be home (or in San Francisco today). Our 80s+ weather is now gone...looking more like fall. I'm seeing lots of porch pumpkins and corn stalks appearing :o)
