Dr. Phil's book. I like his style and believe it or not, I am actually learning a thing or three in the process. He is totally no nonsense and I love that so I'll let you know how it goes.

Good for you!I think it's all about finding what works best for you. I watched some of his show yesterday and almost cried. It's so sad to see the pain some of these people are in.Yesterday as I watched I thought he was being too tough but then I began to think that is the approach some people need.He reached over and hugged someone and by then I was thinking he was pretty sweet.

Hey Lori,

You are not alone. I had mentioned to my DH I wanted to pick up Dr. Phil's book. I too like his no nonsense style and felt it might be helpful to me in my quest to get to a healthy weight. DH gave me a copy for our anniversary on the 19th. I know... you can tell we have been married for a long time when he gives me a weight loss book and I'm thrilled he got me something I wanted! When I got to Mass. I noticed it on my sisters bedside table too. I'm looking forward to reading it but don't think I'll crack it until next week.

I think you'll like it! I'm really learning a lot about myself and my habits. It's kinda scary and hard to do so I'm going at it in little chunks. I have a feeling I'm going to have to go back to the beginning a couple times to get it right. I love how he's really pushing the 'life change' concept.

Stay real!

Tell us how you like his book, Lori. I hope you feel better & you're not pushing yourself too hard at work.
