Hi girls

I hope that you can help me. My son that just graduated from college got a great job and is heading to Virginia (by DC) for three weeks of corporate training. This is a beach, soccer california boy (flip flops and shorts), I was wondering if you can tell us what the weather will be like this time of year in Virginia. He has never been to the east coast. Of course now he is wearing dress-casual clothes, but can he expect rain this time of year?

Thanks for your help

Hey Sharon, congratulations to your son!!The weather right now is below normal temps.I think for the next week or so we are suppose to be in the 60's, with the average being low to mid 70s.I'm not sure what the normal rainfall is for now , right now we are 27 inches above our normal amount.I know they are calling for showers on Sat but I think the next week is clear.

Thank you so much for the information. I told him that I hope he has time to take in all of that beautiful history you have, but he would rather go to a sporting event. By the way what is your son up to now that he is grown?

Hope your son enjoys his time here. The leaves are just starting to change, he should try to get to the mountains sometime.

My DS is working for a landscaper and loving it.They've asked him to consider some college courses so he can become more involved in the business. One college he is thinking is about 4 hrs away so he would live on campus. You know I never really thought about him being away from home like that because mostly he's talked about community colleges. It would be a big adjustemnt...for me!!
