Anyone check out this month's Cooking Light? Although I have no sense of smell and I feel WAHHHHH...woe is Deb, I made Eric something healthy, and I tasted it and it's pretty darn good!

Sweet Spicy Glazed Salmon

3 TBL dark brown sugar

1 TBL low sodium soy sauce

4 tsp Chinese style hot mustard

1 tsp rice vinegar

4 six ounce salmon fillets

cooking spray

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp pepper

1. Preheat oven to 425.

2. Combine first 4 ingredients to saucepan bring to boil remove from heat

3. Place fish on foil lined Jelly roll pan coated with cooking spray sprinkle with salt and pepper and bake at 425 for 12 minutes, remove from oven.

4. Preheat Broiler

5. Brush sugar mixture evenly over salmon, broil 3 inches from heat 3 min or when fish flakes easily when tested.

Ok---------> I cheated, I baked it for 20 (I did a lot of salmon) and I'll finish it off tonight with the broiler when I reheat. I'm also roasting Brussels Sprouts with garlic olive oil--an Eric request.

Rhonda---big article on Pilates too I believe in this issue, maybe you wrote it LOL???

No sense of smell, huh? So you could walk by Cinnabon or The World's Best Cookie Company and the smells wouldn't tempt you? I was at the mall for a little while today and just breathed deeply as I walked briskly by.

The salmon recipe looks really good. I'm always on the lookout for good salmon recipes, so I will print it out. I never would have expected a Pilates article in "Cooking Light." Thanks for letting me know. I'll have to check it out. Wish I had written it!! ;-)

I think I'd somehow turn into that Cinnabon shop even with MY stuffed up nose :o). I'm still working off the peanut butter shake I had on Saturday...Eric had a marshmallow one, never heard of a marshmallow shake but it sure was good.
