Did my powerwalk this a.m. with friends.

Top 3:

1. DS brought home a good report card of A's and 2 B's.

2. I powerwalk with a walking club now, first thing in the a.m.

3. I got alot of paperwork filed and lots of throwing out of old paperwork this week.

I'll have to miss ds' football game tonight as I have to work. Poor things haven't won a game yet!

Have a great day all!

Hello Ladies.

Quick post this morning. Fun-filled day planned. Not! But DH is working from home today so he's handling getting the darlings off to school. He has a dentist appointment at 8:00 and then we're heading out to the lake and back for a good powerwalk and then hitting the weights. After that, my day begins at the office. Patty-cakes and I had to cancel our lunch date today (wahhhhh). It's so hard to get our schedules free at the same time.

Have a great day!

Yes, I know the feeling of things piling up so much that you just want to take the next plane out of the state and hope when you return it all disappears! LOL!

My 3 Positives:

1. Finished 2nd contemporary romance novel (I haven’t read anything for “fun” in years).

2. Started an Anatomy & Physiology online class through State of New York at Alfred as part of the bigger goal for professional certification to do medical insurance coding and billing.

3. Finished major home improvements i.e.; carpeting, tile, new bedroom furniture. Sounds like “fun” and it partly is but because I spent so much time doing home improvements at our old house getting it ready to sell, it became exhausting doing this to our new house. If there will be other major improvements, it won’t be until spring, thank you very much;^)

Plans for Tuesday:

Drive to Ladies Fitness gym and do a 2-hr workout between elliptical machine and stationary bike or stairmaster.

Read and work on homework

Search online for a birthday gift for a dear friend and send Halloween cards online through Hallmark which lets you select the date to be sent.

Have a good day!

Top of the morning to you all!!Phyllis, great job on getting the expenses entered!I've been up since 3 battling a migraine.Real close to tossing all the daily meds in the can.Still having the same number of headaches plus other things to deal with.I can't wait til my hormones quiet down!!

Heading off to do a weight workout. Then I'm going with my parents to pick up a car.The accident have really affected them. Mom said she laid awake the other night thinking they wouldn't be able to go like they do now much longer.Makes me sad. Also makes me cherish them more. They are taking me out to lunch which will be interesting.Going to one of Dads favorite places, Golden Corral.Dad never thinks I eat enough so he will be pushing food at me.Mom and I will be driving back together and she wants to stop for ice cream. So I should make sure I get a good cardio in when I get home.

Top 3 1)Have a chance to do something for Mom and Dad today and spend time with them.2)I've been staying on top of some work around here 3)Have done well with exercise.

Take care and have a great day everyone. And Sybil who are you today :)

3 positive things:

1. I had Winston at the vet. at 6:40 for his surgery. They didn't open until 7. Can you tell I was eager?? Actually, I had taken Rob to school and decided to do both on the same trip. I pick Winston up at 4. Will he ever forgive me?

2. Had the most wonderful weekend on both days, which sort of recharged my batteries a bit.

3. Have gotten in some exercise this week and plan to continue.

I got out and about early today. Have already been to Rob's school, the vet., and the grocery store. I'm meeting a friend at Panera for lunch today, so I'm looking forward to that. After that, I think I'll get back out in the yard for some fall clean-up. I got in some good upper body work yesterday out there, not to mention, my quads and lower back muscles. I thought it was going to be cooler yesterday, but it wound up being 88. We're expecting some afternoon storms today, which the yard can use.

Make it a good one!

Good Morning,

Sybil is very quiet this morning although a little tired since DH and I got caught up in watching the end of the Red Sox v Athletic's play off game last night. I did a 45 minute cardio this morning so Sybil and I are feeling very good this morning.

Top Three:

1. DH actually got rid of some of his "wardrobe" over the weekend. Although I still can't figure out why he needs more than one pair of "painting" pants!

2. Got the brain functioning and found a great web site to make crossword puzzles for my literacy student.

3. It's great to be back on the positive thinking side of life.

15 minute project-way to many to list and probably won't get to any today but you never know.

Patty I hope that headache leaves you and you are able to enjoy the day with your parents.

Phyllis-I hope Sybil quiets down and you can enjoy some peace and quiet. I hate filing! I hate it at home and at work. The big joke at work is you know it has to get done when the stack reaches the light switch! And it's just like laundry as soon as you get caught up there it is AGAIN!

Have a great day!

Goo morning!

Top 3 for the week:

1. Had a lovely anniversary with DH. Even though I had to work, we had a nice evening.

2. I've learned some things about myself while reading Dr. Phil's book. I have a lot of work to do.

3. I joined the Wellness Committee at work.

Today's workout was an early Jazz class. I'm starting to like this early morning workout thing.

As far as big jobs are concerned, it depends on how big. A filing cabinet? Yeah, get it done all at once. My DH's 3-stall garage packed with whatnot? A little at a time.

Have a super duper day!

Patty, sure hope your head feels better soon and that you're able to have a very nice day with your mom and dad. I know what you mean about the way changes in them make you feel. I am grateful for every day I have my parents still.
